There are two themed cabanas - the Yellow Submarine and the Stevie Wonder aquarium. The yellow submarine is #7 (or could be 8) and the Stevie Wonder is either 9 or 10. We had the yellow sub and the one next to it last year. They were great.
The yellow submarine is #7 and the stevie wonder aquarium is #10. We just returned and rented #9 and this was my favorite location and had all new loungers and chairs. It was a great day and we all enjoyed the cabana a lot.

Thanks, I had a temporary mind blockage. Couldn't remember if there were 10 or 11 cabanas, so I thought I may be one off.
We had #7 and #8 last year - located right behind the baby pool. We wanted #9 & #10, but #9 was already reserved. I think all four of them have the best locations out of any of them.
Okay - new to this stuff at Universal - I have heard of the cabanas, but why would you rent one? How much do they cost? And, would it be an absolutely fabulous thing to do for my husband's 40th?

Cabanas are great for lots of reasons. If you are going during a busy season its so nice to have chairs and loungers that belong to you for the day. HRH pool area can get extremely congested. I love the bar/food service at the cabana. Your own personal server at your call for aything you may want or need. You can close it up and get changed before heading to the parks. Watch some music videos ot TV or a movie. A huge bonus is getting out of the sun for a while when you need to.
If anyone is heading to HRH and renting a cabana be on the lookout for Becka, she was the best!
How much are the rates for the cabanas at the hard rock? My DH2B and I are spending our last part of our honeymoon there were checking in Nov. 10 and staying until the 13th and we were interested in renting a cabana. Please if anyone could help me with this info it would be greatly appreciated.
The cabana's at HRH are $125 for the day or $150 for a themed cabana. They come with soda and water and a fruit bowl. They also have a mini fridge, telephone, towels, table and chairs lounge chairs (4) a TV and a ceiling fan.
