Hi

I know that there is a thread on here for the best theme park ticket prices but I just wondered if anybody had any tips of when is best to buy please? I am not due to go until May 2011 and I know the disney 14 for 7 day tickets are on offer now - what I can't find out is what the price of the 14 is when they are not on offer - meaning I don't actually know how much i'd be saving! I'm not sure if this offer is worth buying them now or wait until next year to see what offers are available then??

Any help and I'm extremely grateful.

Many thanks

I think attraction tickets direct offer a good deal as they price match, deliver actual tickets and you can also pay a deposit so it can help spread the cost

Thanks guys think I will hold on till next year and just keep an eye out for any offers !!

I won't be buying park tickets until about a month before we go, as wayneg says, what if you HAVE to cancel your trip, it would be bad enough possibly losing money from the booking but wasting hundreds on tickets aswell...

Just a thought but is there not an argument to buy tickets this year if you are travelling next year as I would have thought they may be subject to VAT increases?

If I'm wrong I apologise in advance but just playing devil's advocate.

Its a consideration but 2.5% saving less lost interest(I know not much but still there)

If there is a deal out now for the tickets required then might be better off buying now, if no deals then probably be better waiting and seeing if theres a deal nearer.

I would be more interested in getting 14 days for price of 7 days or 3 parks for price of 2 etc rather than saving 2%.

I know that some sites are offering 2011 14 days for price of 7 just now so I can only really see those particular ticket prices going one way and that is up.....might be best to hedge bets and get some tickets just now and some later!

My only concern is the 14 for 7 deals don't tell u anywhere what the price of the 14 is normally and the only reason I can think that this isnt clearly shown is that the savings are not massive! Could be wrong but I must agree I'd rather wait and pay the increase on VAT next year x

The difference this year between 7 day (£225) and 14 day (£239) is £14, then another £25 for the 21 day ticket (£264)
So for next year they are charging for 7 day £240 & for 21 day £274, I would estimate their 14 day ticket to be approx £252 going on this years differences.

Thanks wayeg that's me decided for such a smallish amount in difference I'll wait!! Thanx again x
