theme park ticket increase?

The DIS bulletin mentions something about ticket increases on 1/8/09. Anyone know anything about this? I did search and checked uc and didnt see anything mentioned.

There is a thread about this on the theme park board but it does not appear to be true - the Disney ticket page does nto reflect the change, none of the other planning sites or newspapers have anything about it so I am thinking it is not true.

I asked this same question when I saw the posting at the top of the home page this morning, but GodenOldie replied that ticket prices always go up on Sundays, not on Thursdays. I hope it doesn't mean there is an impending increase, as I am not returning until Feb. 1, and will need to renew my AP or purchase a ticket.

Considering so many people are cancelling their plans/reservations, I think Disney would do well to at least leave the prices as they are, if not lower them.

It was announced by Webmaster Will that they had been doing some testing to see if including tax would work and accidently posted it. He apologized on TPA&S for the error and the thread there about the price increase has been locked.
