Theme Park Parking

We will be parking at the parks for the first time in years this upcoming April. We are DVC & AP holders so we normally use Disney transportation. This April we will be staying at a state park & driving in to the parks each day. Do we present our Magic Band or AP pass at the parking turnstile? My husband is also handicapped. Is there handicapped parking that they will direct us to once inside the parking lots? TIA

yes they scan your MB or hard ticket to make sure you have parking entitlements, then if you have a handicap stticker or tag they will direct you to the parking

Once you get through the parking gates the signing is pretty good. There is also a blue line in the road to follow as well and parking attendants to help along the way.

If your AP and magic band are linked together in MDE, the parking booth CM can just scan your MB and wave you thru.

For handicap parking they will tell you to follow the painted Blue Line on the road. Its usually on the right. There will be a CM positioned anywhere youd need to turn.

These systems both work well. Itll be a piece of cake after you go thru it the first time.

Be sure to have a photo ID available at the parking toll booths. They usually ask to see that as well, at least for us a AP holders.

Yes, since some CM ask for ID and some don't, I just have my AP card and my ID ready to show them, instead of having to dig it out if they ask. We think we get in more quickly that way.
