We are checking in to the Royal Pacific on Aug 27 for a night. We planned to hit IOA at opening. Should we park at the theme park and move to the resort parking later? Or, can we park at the resort that early and just check in later?

You need to park at RPR, check in, get your express passes, then hit the parks.

You need to have your room key for EE. You can check in really early so don't worry.

The walk from RPR is probably the same as from the main parking structure for the parks/citywalk, and you need to do the checkin process for RPR anyway to get EP. Go to RPR, leave your car there. :)

you will be paying for hotel parking, why also pay for garage parking....
