Raven: "Sure."
Gordon: He held out his hand for her.
Raven: "Sure."
Raven: She took it.
Gordon: He stood and held her hand gently as he led her to the dance floor.
OOC: You and Me, Lifehouse -
"Cause it's you and me and all of the people
With nothing to do, nothing to prove
And it's you and me and all of the people
And I don't know why I can't keep my eyes off of you
Something about you now
I can't quite figure out
Everything she does is beautiful
Everything she does is right"
anyway back to the regular scheduled programming
Hope: It was kind of like being on horseback, dancing with Jay. Really, anything having to do with being with Jay was like being on horseback. She should say that being on horseback was like being with Jay. Everything else faded away and the only thing that was left was what was important, right in front of her, which was Jay, and the need to stay in Jay's arms.
Raven: She walked with him. Normally she didn't like dancing, but it was fun when she had a skilled partner, and a Prince of Asgard was unlikely to step on her feet.
Gordon: "You are a wonderful dancer." He spun her. "And might I add that you look gorgeous."
OOC: I know that song.
I understood that reference!
Aww cute very fitting
Jay: He was still whisked away into another world with just Hope. He held her tight and danced to the music. "I love you Hope." He kissed her and let it linger.
Evelyn: She looked around the ballroom enjoying the atmosphere of cerebration filled with fancy attire, people from all over the world, and for some romance. Evelyn got up to head to the dance floor with Mike, the bottom of her dress trailing behind her. The dresses on the floor twirled round and round, a variety of colors into a kaleidoscope. Sequins.. lace.. round and round and round. Bang. A gun was fire and time seemed to slow as a frenzy of pure terror and screeches filled the ballroom. The doors slammed shut and a man laughed manically. 'I SHOT T'CHALLA! OH WAKANDA. WHAT A GREAT DISCOVERY! i WILL RULE IT NOW. YOU CAN'T STOP ME!" He laughed some more and the floor began to shake. Giant mutated beetles about the size of cats crawled out of a few floor cracks and began to tore everyone's flesh.
Jay: His first instinct of course was to grab Hope and go to the door, but it shut in front of their faces. "Love, stay calm. Stay calm. Our team is stellar. Stay clam..."
Evelyn: Her pupils got huge and she shook a little. This was terrifying. Pure terror. She flung off her heels and flung it at the mysterious maniacal man. "Alice give me a gun!" She didn't know she had them. Just assumed.

June: She stood, her back against Conrad's, shooting every bug she saw.
Thora: "Come on, come on..." Bugs started approaching her, but she was focused on her Mjolnir. Why couldn't she have brought it?!
Logan: He pressed a button on his sword and another blade came out of one side. He fought the bugs.
Gordon: He squashed tons of bugs that were attacking people.
Nancy: she fought next to the Asgardians, hitting each bug with perfect aim, but they just kept coming. They would probably be overwelmed soon. As if ready her thought, one of the beetles crawled onto her side and bit her shooting arm. She pushed it off, switching the gun to her left hand. Her right arm was bleeding pretty heavily now. Phil: he fired at the crazy man. Tony and Eli: they did what they could, but didn't have weapons.
June: She pulled out more guns and threw them to the Starks. "Nance, you okay?"
Gordon: He heard a shriek. He turned to see his sister being swarmed with bugs. He ran over, tearing bugs off of her. "Someone help me! Please!"
OOC: I can edit this, but I was thinking about having this character come in way later in the RP, probably when we don't have any specific plans for a while. I'm not going to say who her parents are right now either. You guys can guess if you want.
Adalicia: She had been attending the ball with her family-they were royalty too- when the chaos started. She saw a brother and sister in trouble, and ran towards them, picking up her skirt. Adalicia forced water out of pitchers from the tables, and it froze, encasing the bugs in solid ice. "Are you alright m'am?"
Raven: "Thora, I've got a sword if you're interested." Conrad: "How many weapons do you have?" Raven: "Well, at the start of the night I had about 8-10 guns, 4-5 knives, a sword, an assault rifle bazooka kind of thing, and like a couple ninja stars. I probably should have brought the crossbow too, maybe some grenades." Conrad: He just stared. "How?" Raven: She grinned. "I spent some time training with the Black Widow. One of the things she taught me was how to hide things very securely, secretively, efficiently and creatively."
