The Young Avengers and The Phantom of the Opera (YAMRP Part 2)

Mike: "Uh, I guess."

OOC: Poor Mike lol

Scooter: He was pumping up the crowd.

Football Coach: "Great! Sorry I forgot to ask before. Just do something inspirational, pump them up. Remind them to come to please come tot he game today at 4:30. " He patted his back. "You'll do great kid."

Scooter: "Now to tell you all about tonight's game... our newest star... MIKE RIDER!" He handed Mike the Mic.

Evelyn: She raised an eyebrow and watched. Mike was giving a speech? She had no idea.

Mike: "Uh..hi. I'm Mike, it's a pleasure to meet you all. Really, this school's pretty amazing. I'm no good with speeches - my dad's made some pretty good speeches, but I'm not him, so bear with me here. I haven't been here for that long, but it really is an amazing school. There's just so much talent, brilliance and energy here. I can feel the energy just pushing down on me. And you might say, what's so great about that, but I'm serious. Back in Brooklyn, there was no school spirit. They said, "who cares about school sports as long as we're winning?" And when we weren't winning, they were complaing, but it's not like they actually cared. But here, here everyone gets excited, they want to see us do well, - you all do care - and that makes me really excited, because now I truly feel a part of something, like someone other than myself wants me to do well, and that - I feel my blood pumping and my heart beating just thinking about it. This school has spirit and why not, this is an amazing school. And I honestly believe we can go all the way and win the championship and I personally will work my hardest to make that happen. We are amazing. They say football is America's sport - well, let's go out and show them all, show the whole country what we're made of. That we're amazing. That we are the All American school and football champs. Take the first step with me to greatness, and come see the Homecoming game at 4:30 this afternoon, today!" He handed the microphone back to Scooter. "I'm done, here you go."

Jay: The crowd went ballistic. And for good reason too. That was a good speech. Humble, simple, but very impactful.

Evelyn: Wow. She knew Mike was a great leader, but that was a fantastic speech. He could do anything. That speech made her proud to be a Buffalo. She cheered and shook her poms poms along with the roaring crowd.

Scooter: "Let's give it up for Mike and the Buffalo New York football team!!" The loud crowd got louder, filled with a thunderous clap and yelling. "Next up... The Bill's dance team!" The football team sat in chairs set for them in front of the stands.

Evelyn: Their megaphones and pretty set positions were right by the football players, so she squeezed her way though the maze of players and found Mike, giving him a big hug. "Oh my goodness, that was incredible!"

Mike: "Eh, it wasn't bad, but thank you," he said, hugging her back.

Hope: She applauded. That was a really good speech.

Raven: No good at speeches? She didn't buy that. Speeches were probably in Rogers blood.

Conrad: He clapped and whistled. Mike must have been in Brooklyn after DC. And now they were both here.

Phil: he glanced at Raven. "That was pretty good. I think it runs in the family."

Evelyn: "No, I'm dead serious. Look how impacted every one is. Well, good job again. I have to back, see ya!" She bounced back to the other cheerleaders to watch the dance team. Then band played "I gotta feeling", followed by a relay game hosted by student council, and the senior homecoming court was introduced. It was time for the cheerleaders to do the routine. She felt a little nervous with all the eyes on them, but not too much. They did their routine well, a bunch of fast pased movement and flips. Evelyn was satisfied with the performance.

Jay: Ev and the cheerleaders did well! Now it was time for the rustler routine! They performed the silly skit with a great applause. Then it was time for the class yell, so he and Ev walked over to the Sophomore section. The freshmen went first, and did pretty well. Now, it was their turn.

Scooter: "Let's hear it Sophomores! (Assuming this is September 2014) Your chant is, "We're the best of this Scene, Seniors Seniors 2017!" 3..2..1...

Evelyn: She yelled as loud as she could with the crowd. "WE'RE THE BEST OF THIS SCENE, SENIORS SENIORS 2017! WHOOOOO!"
They created luminous roar, and had a chance at winning. The juniors and seniors went. It was the moment of truth. The prinsiple, Scooter, and Bill the Buffalo had a meeting.

Scooter: "The winner is... THE SOPHOMORES!"

Jay: Yeah! They went crazy and the Sophomores rustlers were handed the spirit stick and held it to the applauding sophomore students. The band's deep drums were hit and the school fight song played, singling the end of the pep rally. The gym floor became a pool of students leaving and mingling.

Nancy: she was careful not to make any mistakes.

Valery: she passed some of the new kids as she sat down.

Eli: his arc reactor started to spark a lot. Oh man... He tapped Penny's shoulder.

Mine: They followed through with the chant and celebrated

Thora and Gordon: They watched and smiled.

June: She was kinda bored. Pep rallies weren't her thing. But it was nice to hear Mike's speech and see Evelyn and Jay with the pep squad.

Nancy: she was careful not to make any mistakes.

Valery: she passed some of the new kids as she sat down.

Eli: his arc reactor started to spark a lot. Oh man... He tapped Penny's shoulder.

Evelyn: "Good job Nanc!" She gave her a high five. Evelyn had always mocked the cheerleaders back in NYC, but it was actually fun.

Penny: She frowned and turned around.

Luke: He watched as a girl walked by the Stark boy, and he became slightly upset about something.

Jay: He pep rally was over and he saw Hope walking down the congested bleacher stairs, ran up to hear, and spun her around, laughing. There wasn't any room to put her down so he put Hope on his shoulders. "Hey beautiful I hope you don't mind the ride."

Evelyn: The cheerleaders were out on the floor, doing a little pom routine with the other cheerleader along to the beat of the fight song. Clap clap left pom up right pom up together up shake!

Penny: She frowned and turned around.

eli: the sparking stopped after a while. "What the heck?"
