The Young Avengers: A Very Avengers Holiday (YARP Part 6)

Evelyn: Her arms were brimming with cookies and campaign stickers. "I think so."
Mike: "Wow, that's a lot." He took some of it, not bothering to ask if she needed help carrying it. He was just a gentleman like that.

Mike: "Wow, that's a lot." He took some of it, not bothering to ask if she needed help carrying it. He was just a gentleman like that.
Evelyn: "Yeah. I got a little too into it.Then again, there's never too much publicly honestly.", she laughed. "Thanks."

Gordon: He walked downstairs sluggishly. He had been skyping all night with britannia. He took the pot of coffe and chugged the entire thing, not bothering to pour it into a cup.

Dill: Dill was an average looking person but the title of being popular plus his sharp, wall street style attire elevated his appeal. He was a senior, and a leader to the school. As a vice president he didn't nessarrily improve the school. Not much had happened, but yet he keep getting elected year after year due to his likeable nature. The election would be a piece of cake. He was older, more people knew him, and he thought he deserved it as he had been going to the high school the whole time and already was in the class council. Anyways, how could Mike Rider be trusted when he dated an assassin's daughter.

Evelyn: They went to school. Evelyn promoted Mike all day, and cheer went normally. It was finally time for the pep rally. It was festive, epically since it was Christmas time and right before break. But for those involved in the election it was tense.

Dill: The band preformed, cheer cheered, a few sports teams preformed. Then It was time for his speech.

Dill: He strutted up to the podium. "Why hello fellow classmates! Hope your all having a wonderful day and happy almost winter break. I'm saddened by the move of our wonderful president Patricia. She'll be remembered as a wonderful school leader. I hope by being your president I can expand her legacy. I've been apart of our student body for a long time, and know what we need. I'll also be loyal to this great school. Good leadership needs experince. I think I'm your prime candiate, and if I'm elected we'll work hand in hand to improve our already great instution. I'd be humbled to serve and if you voted for me. Thank you." The crowd applauded.

Evelyn: Dill was quite charamatic, but didn't even talk about how he'd make good changes. It'll still be a challange to win, but they had a chance. Mike got called up to do his speech. "Good luck!" She had butterflies waiting to see how it'd go.

Mike: "Thanks." He kissed her cheek and walked up to the podium. He gave one of his signature Lieutenant America grins. "Ladies, gentlemen, my fellow Americans. My name is Michael Rider, but you can call me Mike, all my friends do. I'm sure you all have winter break plans that you are eager to begin. I myself plan on visiting the cemetery this afternoon. So I'll be brief. Do you know what I see when I walk down these halls? I see smart, beautiful and talented people that are going to go places. Do you know what else I see? Potential and opportunity. Potential to be better people than we were yesterday, and opportunity to seize the day, achieve, to be a part of something greater. I'd like to help unlock the potential and seize the opportunity, make the school a better place. My grandfather fought in war, for freedom. So did my mother. I try to honor my grandfather and my mother by trying to make the world a better place. I know lots of other people lost family members in serving their country too. Even if it's just our school, even if it's just ourselves, shouldn't we use our freedoms to make life better? I may not have the experience my fine counterpart has, but if I am elected, I will do my best to do what the president is assigned to do: to serve the people to the best of my ability, to make their lives and their world better. Thank you." He stepped away, straightening his tie.

OOC: I have no idea what to do with my characters.

Evelyn: She cracked a huge smile. "You crushed it Mike!" He really had. She hoped the crowd was patriotic. Mike was very sauce and charismatic in the speech. The rest of the pep rally went fine and dandy. When entering the gym, a clip of paper had been given to each student. Upon leaving, they could vote in the boxes by the exit doors. The pep rally ended and the students flooded out, dropping their slip into the boxes. Evelyn was standing with Mike by the ballots. It seemed pretty evenly split. Oh and there was this weird kid named Lulu who picked her nose and her speech mostly involved taking all the pigeons in NYC and the school adopting them. That was interesting...

Jay: He was running/jumping up and down excitedly around the gym with a poster. "VOTE FOR MIKE! VOTE FOR MIKE!"
