The Young and The Restless .. Take 5 .. Spoilers Welcome!

Is Lucy going down the same road as her father when he was drunk and Cassie was driving him home?
Probably. With Faith driving her home.

Kyle...my goodness is he like a 13 year old brat. Really! How the actor can stand to do these scenes, I don't know but it's absurd. I have second hand embarrassment for him when watching. Almost need to cover my eyes and ears. It's ick.

I love when step parents feel in their heart that step children are "their" children.

As an adoptive mom, I know that you can feel exactly the same as your adoptive child as you do your biological child.

I want to love the story line where Summer loves Harrison as if she had given birth to him BUT I hate this story line so much. First off, i do not recall Summer legally adopting Harrison. Did Tarra even legally give up her parental rights?

So, how in the heck is a judge giving her any say over anything that is going on with Harrison? Do the writers not have a legal consultant on staff who can correct these things?

Next rant. Are three concurrent story lines involving mental illness enough or should we throw some more in there. And do they not have Google to research these mental illnesses so that they can portray them more accurately.

I find Summer unwatchable. I fast forward through any scene she is in. She did not adopt Harrison and I find her over the top reaction to be stupid and her acting is awful which is not helping.

I suspect this is leading up to Tara being released from jail and taking him from both of them.

I don’t understand all the mental heath storylines. Connors was all off screen so you couldn’t connect to it. Sharon is just odd and much like Ashley it sounds one she’ll be off screen too. Ashley is leaving the show so it’s odd they aren’t wrapping up her story somehow.

I’m also tired of all the business stuff. I don’t care who is CEO give us a real story.

I'm still waiting for the Jack/Diane story to go the route that she was working with Tucker afterall or Victor and Diane getting control of Jabot from Jack and the Abbotts. Since COVID we all seem to think their storylines go on way too long before moving on.

What I wonder is why does she still have a key to the Abbott house and feel free to let herself in whenever she pleases. Or did I miss that arrangement in their custody settlement when Summer left the house?

Well think about it. If the Abbotts, Newmans and everybody else changed the locks every time they got divorced or just switched partners, professional locksmith would be the best job to have in Genoa City. Just imagine how many people have keys to the main house at the Newman ranch 😂

I just assumed no one ever locked their doors on soaps. How else would you be able to walk in on someone cheating?!

BTW - Josh Morrow's (Nick Newman) son just started a role on Bold and the Beautiful. Saw him and thought he looked pretty familiar - they have very similar looks and smiles. :)

And why are they repeating the same storyline in reverse that Lucy sneaks a drink and wants to hang out with older Summer? We all can predict something dire's going to happen, like Lucy being attacked or something.

I know I am a couple of days late on this but apparently the script writers pay attention to social media and realized that there was a hole in their storyline regarding Summer and her legal interest in Harrison The suddenly mentioned that she adopted him legally when they were in Paris.

OK, they fixed that one but they are still going with the plot that Summer has a chance of getting sole custody of Harrison based on what? The "danger" he is in because Kyle works with Audra? That probably would fly even if Audra was a convicted serial killer. How is Kyle's work relationship any danger to Harrison?

Y&R writers, please get someone on staff to help with the legal plots.

I don't get what's the difference of Kyle moving Harrison out of the Abbott home to a new one away from Jack and Diane or Summer moving Harrison out of the Abbott home into a new home of her own If/When she buys a home??? Summer needs to get some therapy to get over the issue of Audra breaking up her marriage - afterall she herself is sleeping with Chance.

YES!!! My thoughts exactly!

Why do I still watch? I’m frustrated with every story! Adam lying, musical CEOs, the car accident with faith and Lucy, Sharon talking to the dead, It’s all expected and boring. Is it just me?

The car accident was sooooo predictable. And let me guess Faith will be more injured than originally diagnosed.

Or another thought I had is, yes, Faith will be more injured (head injury) and Sharon will go over edge and try to kill what's his name (Lucy's dad). Maybe that's what ghost bad guy is eluding to...saying she can't leave town because what she has to do is IN town.

Did you see the wig that Nikki was wearing today - OMG! I'm sure it's not her real hair.

Seen in Canada on the episode of 9/17/2024.

What the what Sharon??!! I thought she was going to wake from a nightmare at the end of Friday's show and realize she really needs help, but nope the coming attractions have Daniel searching for Heather. Is Sharon Case leaving the show?
How are there no cameras in the hallways or outside? Why would Daniel stay away more than 3 hours after picking up Lucy? Smh
