:welcome:
Thanks! :goodvibes It is fun sharing Disney with newbie Disney people and they'll forever have the memory of it.

BTW Joey update: He got through all his experimental treatment and it took and he was released from the hospital for a bit. He was doing good, but Christmas he wasn't feeling well and they had to take him back to the hospital. I haven't talked to my cousin after that, so don't know what's going on now. I'll update on that whenever I find anything out.

Update soon!

After our deliciously dinner we were ready to finish off our touring of WS. We backtracked a little back over to England and explored some. I’d never really explored England so we walked around and I don’t know why I’ve never explored before. :confused3

We walked into one of the stores and I found these cute furry Winnie the Pooh plushies. OMG they were so soft too and I almost bought them, they even had my other favorite Pooh characters Owl and Roo.

CIMG2227.jpg

and of course my absolute fave Pooh character
CIMG2228.jpg

Then I found these books and had a flashback from when I was a kid. I remember reading them when I was younger, of course my friends are a little younger than me and didn’t know what I was talking about, but I was excited to see them.

CIMG2229.jpg

We decided to stay and wait for the band that was coming. My friend Isis said they were really good, so we just chilled and my Pal Mickey decided to giggle and challenge us to find our way through the maze next to the stage.

It wasn’t very hard, but it was fun. We were a little tired after our big meal, but Yani’s BF was really feeling our commando touring. :rotfl:

The little courtyard that we were in soon started to fill up and the band arrived and started to play. It was a Beatles cover band and I forget their name, British Invasion or something? Anyhoo they were pretty good.

The lead singer told us a story about this lady that was in the audience that told him he didn’t look like a Beatle, but Mick Jagger. He then proceeded to imitate Jagger and the band played a bit of a Rolling Stone song and he did look like him! ::yes:: It was hilarious  I wish I would’ve recorded it, but I didn’t know he was gonna do that. After the band played we got our pics taken with the Beatle look-alikes. Unfortunately my friend Isis has that pic and she has yet to give me the pictures.

We skipped over Canada and proceeded onto France, another country I hadn’t explored properly. I had it on good authority from V that I needed to explore, so I did.

They had cute Ratatouille stuff in one of the shops and Isis and I decided to try on some berets and be French.

It was then off to Morocco.

CIMG2247.jpg

As we were walking in I spotted Aladdin, Genie and Jasmine and ran over to the line because I really wanted a pic with Aladdin, but when I got to the line the CM told me that they were leaving, but would be back in about 20 min. or so. :guilty: I was disappointed, but they’d be coming back. We explored Morocco, another country I hadn’t really given time to explore. It is so beautiful too, I often wonder how accurate Disney is with the countries because they seem to do a pretty good job with them.

While browsing the shops Isis found her namesake.

We headed back to see if Aladdin and gang were back and they were, but as soon as we started approaching we had to turn back.

I'm glad you got to spend some more time in World Showcase. I love to walk around the countries and take pictures of all the architecture, the streets, light fixtures, things in the shops. I want to go right now, since you've started me thinking about it!!!

Continued prayers are being said for your cousin. I hope he will have the best treatments and the best possible results all the way through this.

great pics and update. u bad women making that poor man fall asleep at Disney. :rotfl2:
another cliffhanger???? I thought DM's tr was over. :rotfl:

Hey Z. Keeping Joey in our prayers. Keep us updated:hug:

Exploring the countries is our favorite part of EPCOT. We always seem to find something new that we had never seen before:goodvibes

Love the updates Z. I have a LeCellier ressie for February, can't wait!

What I love about WS, is there is always something new to find/experience!

I'll be praying for Joey. Sorry to hear he was sick during Christmas. It's such a hard time for a child. Please keep us updated.

::yes::

I can't believe you sat at the men's urinal! You read Winker's TR right?

 :scared1: That is not a urinal! I haven't read her TR, but I think I've seen the pic of her family around it pretending to pee as her avatar. :rotfl2: OMG, that's embarrassing now. :rotfl:

Another Cliffhanger!!!!

Sorry. :flower3: At least you didn't have to wait too long for an update.

DMs TR may be over, but her writing technique will live on through me! Muahahahaha:stir:

Great updates!! Lovin' the pics! LeCellier is my favorite restaurant!!!

Thanks and LeC is very yummy! :thumbsup2

:rolleyes1 I had a duh moment with Isis.

:rotfl: That's ok. I thought it was weird that Morocco had an Isis statue, but it was funny and made her pose with it.

Thank you all for the continued prayers and kind thoughts about Joey. It's been a really tough time for them all and we're hoping he stays strong.

We had to turn back because just as we were approaching the line, the skies decided to open up and pour down on us. Aladdin and friends were quickly ushered away and we ran over to Japan.

Luckily Japan’s store is huge and we killed a lot of time in there, but the rain still wouldn’t let up. We decided to just sit by the doors near the kidcot station and wait out the rain. It eventually let up and we were free to finish touring the WS, but not before I got some pics in.

CIMG2250.jpg

If you look behind my silly friends, you’ll see the remnants of the rain.
CIMG2251.jpg

We headed off to America (you can still see the ominous clouds)
CIMG2253.jpg

Nobody really cared to watch the film or whatever it is they have there, but we did browse the store a bit. After that we were done. We headed next door to Italy and staked out a spot where the Gondola is in front of the WS lagoon and just wait it out for Illuminations.

I spread out the one poncho we had (since mine were tucked nicely in my closet at home. D’oh!:headache: ) and we rested and relaxed. One of my ankles was killing me and I don’t know why, so I was very happy to be sitting. We waited quite a bit and the area soon got filled, but when Illuminations started we had a prime view. :3dglasses I don’t know if we got lucky or what but we had no smoke and I would recommend this spot for Illumination viewing. :thumbsup2

We waited ‘til some of the crowd cleared out and headed out of the park.
Goodbye Epcot (sans wand)!

Well if you have to get stuck in the rain, Japan is the place to do it. I love the store there.

Great seats for Illuminations. We skipped IROE last year because of the noise with Jimmy, but is on the definite list for this year:thumbsup2

Yeah a Zorylee update:yay:

Those afternoon storms can be bad, looking forward to them in August:headache:

At least you were in a store that you can keep busy in:thumbsup2

Nice score on those IROE seats, I am hoping to catch it 2x in February!
