The minions looked like they were enjoying the fountains.

What a bummer that they all wanted to go back to the resort instead of seeing World Showcase.

I really hope it doesn't rain for long as I would hate to be you trapped in a hotel room with three grumpy minions.

So I had no choice but to give in to their lack of Disdrenaline and take a pool break back at the resort.

Oh No! I hope things improve later in the trip with their "Disdrenaline". I'd be so disappointed for you if after all your planning and excitement you weren't able to see and do and much as you had wanted.

Well after lunch and a bathroom break we didn’t really know what to do.

After they got cooled off we were on our way to WS, but Mom said it was too hot and she and Bre were tired and so were the Minions. So I had no choice but to give in to their lack of Disdrenaline and take a pool break back at the resort. I said we had to come back later to watch the fireworks and eat.

As we’re waiting for our bus we notice that the sky is starting to get gray and I said, "Well I guess it’s a good thing we’re leaving ‘cause it looks like it’s gonna rain." To which the Minions, especially #3, were not happy.

Uh-oh, is this the big rain storm I have heard about?

It really must be a "boy" thing. The testosterone. I love some of the fast paced rides, but Geez, stop and smell the roses!!

My kids wanted to go to that "other" park in Orlando this year. Just because of the coasters.

Maybe someday when they can fund their own vacation~~they can go!!

Those boys, however, are very nice looking kids. And they have a great Grandma and Aunt!!

I know right! I love me the thrill rides too, but enjoy the moment your having now. The "other" park in Orlando is fun too, but it's just not Diseny.

Yeah my cousin produces some good lookin' kids . The Minions are my (second) cousins though and my Mom is their Aunt, well they call her aunt.

My April trip coming up I promised to take the kids to Universal but I don't think I will be now. they said they r fine with that cause Disney is what they wanted to see. Was originally driving now flying so need to rent a car with the DME.

It's hard to do Disney and Universal in a week. Disney tires people out enough. Why are you renting a car Scott? You didn't like ME?

I think they changed it way back when to get rid of Figment but then put him back in again. I dunno....needs an update!

Ohh! Good to know. It was so hard getting good pics, I think I took like 10 pics but kept those 2 because the rest were just crap.

Huh? The one in the middle? You mean that kid who's standing behind Minion #3 in the jumping picture? I dunno who that kid was! I don't remember where the oldest Minion (#1) was at the time though.

Yeah, I was a little disappointed. Mom really wanted to go, but it had gotten really hot and everyone was getting a little tired.

The heat was really doing a number on everybody by the afternoon time. Believe me those boys had adrenaline up the wazoo!

I know, what kind of DISer was I? I kinda did have a plan, but I was hoping we could get in a few more rides before heading off to WS.

sorry must have written it wrong. I meant originally I was driving but now I will be taking the kids on their first airplane ride so I will not have a car there so no Universal cause i don't want to rent one for a day to go to US. i DME. it is the most convenient service ever.

Those fountains are always good for a quick pick-me-up for kids! I agree with you about the 3-D situation. Honey I Shrunk the Audience just doesn't do it anymore. It does need to be replaced!

They had been asking me practically all day when we were going to MGM and if there were roller coasters in Epcot.

At least they like the coasters!

As we’re walking into the theater, we get separated from Minions #1 & 2, but at the end are rejoined with them. Everyone liked it fine. I missed this one last time I came in April too and it was ok for me. I think it’s time for WDW to put a new 3D show here though.

We liked this show, especially the snake part!!!

Anyway, as we’re walking out into the blazing heat I decide to take the Minions over to the Jumping Fountains just outside.

Awwwww they look so innocent don’t they? As the vendor in the beginning of Aladdin says, Do not be fooled by commonplace appearances….

Yeah!! That was it! I love those Disney words too. I borrowed it from another DISer (Sorul82) who used it in her TR.

Yeah the snake part is good in HISTA, I just think they need to update to a different show because I think half the kids in the audience have never really seen those movies.

They really liked the jumping fountains and I thought for sure we would've been able to continue into WS, but I was wrong.

We get to SSR and get off at our designated bus stop, which was not the bus stop we got on at. So we made the longest walk back to our room and learned our lesson not to get off at that bus stop, but to get off at the one right across the street from our area.

Anyhoo, the boys rushed up to the room and changed to go swimming and Mom and Bre decided to take a break in the room while I went with them to the pool. I told them to all hurry up because the ominous dark clouds were still swirling. We piled into the car and drove to the Main Pool at SSR (High Rock Springs). When we got there though they told us that it was closed due to the storm that was threatening. Ugh, bummer. While we made our long walk from the bus stop I had spotted the quiet pool, so I told the Minions that we’d check that one out. We drive back to our area and walk on over to the pool. We got to the quiet pool and there were 2 kids with their mom there. Score!!

The Minions were all happy and ready to go and of course jumped in the pool. Of course there’s a huge sign that says no diving so I yell, “Oi! There’s no diving ok.” They just looked at me and it went in one ear and out the other. I really didn’t care if they dived in the pool, but I didn’t want this lady to go and complain about the brown family that are diving in the pool.

After a few minutes some rain drops were falling on my head…And just like the guy whose fee are too big for his bed, Nothin’ seems to fit, Those raindrops are falling on my head…. Er… Sorry. Got carried away there.

Anyhoo some droplets had started and there was some thundering way off in the distance so the mom took her kids out of the pool and they left. Good, now I don’t have to pretend that the kids jump in the pool, ‘cause we have it all to ourselves. That didn’t last long though and neither did the droplets of rain that stopped and another mom and her kidlets soon arrived.

I have no idea how long we stayed there, but here’s some shots I got of the Minions:

Not a flattering pic of me talking, but hey there are so few of me this trip I thought I'd share.

The pool started to get full and I started getting bored and figured we’d been there long enough, so I reeled the little fishes in and we went back to the room to rest up and get ready to go back to Epcot. The pool was a very nice break though.

They look like fun guys to swim with. Dad's always jumping in next to a kid to make the go over waves, or whatever... He tries to dunk me, but for a big girl, I'm fast. Haha- suck-uh!

That is great that the boys were able to get their swim on. They sure look like they were having a blast.
