Thanks for the prayers & PD for my mom. I really appreciate it.

I hate to be a prayer/PD hog, but can y'all send some my way, too? DH got sent home from work today and he will be home for 2 weeks. Seems the doctor won't approve his medical excuse from our family doctor, so he gave him time off. DH filed a grievence, and I hope they can work this out. We so don't need this right now.

YAY!! SURVIVOR!! Can't wait!

Jodie, have you decided yet what to do with your hair? Do you think you'll do the clear demi-gloss or add a little color? I've never heard of the demi-gloss, but years ago, I know that Sebastin used to have a translucent product called Cellaphane. It came in different shades, as well as a clear. Sounds smililar to the demi she's talking about. Jodie, you're putting me to shame with your exercise regimen.... mine has been pretty pathetic over the last week or so, and now I feel too lousy to do anything. CONGRATS on the weight loss....you are doing just fantastic!!!

Nancy, been eyeballing that Princess charm, myself! My dad called me Princess till the day he died and that charm would be a great tribute to a super sweet man! But, I was a bidding fool on eBay last weekend--got my angel with the trumpet, a dangling red rose, a Swarovski crystal Mickey Mouse, the double charm of Mickey & Minnie kissing, and a red heart. I also won my Pooh bear charm that I have been trying to get for several weeks and keep getting outbid on--it's a "Sweety" charm--full body of Pooh with his chin in his hands. Too cute!! Gotta take it easy or I'll have my tax season bonus spent before I even get it.......

Hi Jay...you didn't disappoint me...I knew you'd catch the "lusty" comment!!

I am going to go with the clear gloss this time Kim...ease my way into this whole color thing. I really like the color of my hair so I don't want to change it...just want the grey to go away! She did mention something about red highlights...I immediately thought of you!!! I wouldn't mind a few VERY subtle auburn highlights but I am a "natural look " kinda girl...no wild color for me! I really don't want people to look at me and say Oh...you colored your hair! Just want a fresher look.

Michele...good day for you too!!! You recognized what was happening, took steps to stop the process and it worked with no side effects!!!! I call that problem solved!!! Yay!!!

Beth, I'd be happy to pick it up for you. It was there as of this afternoon... I'll stop in tomorrow and see if they've still got it, if you want me to. If I remember right, it's an enamel type, with a green background, with the words Star Trek (Trek is under the word Star) in gold. Let me know if you think you'd like me to pick it up for you.

Jodie, one thing I will say about your hair... do NOT be afraid to have a little fun with it! It is hair after all and it is very easy to change it all. I love translucent colors (as I call them) but the problem for me is that they only last about 2 weeks... so $45 or so for that isn't worth it to me. So if I color, I go perm. and the perm. colors now aren't too terrible But try that translucent color and go all out with it... it does wash out!

Oh and the color I did do though was similar to before. Slightly darker and a little less brassy. I am having trouble with really dry skin on my face and I am getting red blotches so I figured I needed the least amount of "warm" coloring as possible on my face. I liked this person too... very good and professional. Sweet person, but she did spend more time working on my hair than talking to me, which is fine because she got it EXACTLY what I wanted and agreed that the color needed to be a little less "brassy"

Jodie, I am not suggesting anything WAY out there, but just don't be afraid to try something. Actually I always think it is wise to tell the hair dresser what you think you might like and hand it over to them... sometimes they come back with something that they know will work on you that you wouldn't have thought of and that you wind up loving
