Niiiiiiiiice Save Jodie!

Goodness gracious, I feel like I have fallen off the turnip truck, and will never get ketchuped. phew Ya'll are being very funny and very mothy.

We were just outside playing in the snow, DH made trails for DS in the yard with the snow blower last night while he was digging us and the 2 sets of elderly neighbors out. DS has been running the trails for about 20 minutes. Excellent, a tired petite Ya Ya Bubble Boy tonight!

I am actually so proud of DH, we have 2 sets of elderly neighbors across the street, quite spry, sharp as tacks, but in their late 70s. Last night one of the gentlemen was out shoveling. Mind you, the snow was light and fluffy, but still. DH fired up the snowblower and went across the street before he did our driveway. All but yelled at the man to 'Get in the house, and let me do this for you' (In a very good natured way). It took DH all of 20 minutes to do both driveways, paths, and steps.

An hour after he came in, there was a knock on the door, the 2 gentlemen were back with a thermos. Hot tea liberally laced with honey, lemon and WHISKEY!!!! hee hee. They brought him a warm up! It was very cute.

Ummm......if you've sent the money for the sweathsirts, I haven't received it yet.....but there is no hurry.

We have emergency kits......well, they probably need restocking. Seems the flashlights always disappear.
But.....it is something we've done for years. Happens when you live in earthquake country. And everytime we have one, we get urging to do it again with guides handed out and printed in the newspapers. Good reminder!

All I know is....after 22 years of marriage I have had to come up with some pretty creative ways to "keep the peace" around here! This one works like a charm....when it works! So Mr. Sensitivity, sorry, but I am stickin to my story!!!
