Well I am officially all ready to start my exercise program tomorrow. I have my shoes, workout outfit, video tape, exercise mat, leg exercise bands all ready to go! I am so psyched!! I have my meals all planned out for tomorrow too!!! I got smart today and bought some Skinny Cow ice cream bars so that when the urge to be bad hits I have something here to quell that urge without going off my new lifestyle plan!!!

LOL, actually we had a great time. DH took her home this morning. She had me laughing so hard last night I honestly couldn't stop. What a total joy she is for me and DH.

Bonnie, how sweet of DD to want to wait to get the bracelet cheaper. Very thoughtful young lady. Glad she is interested in having one. (And Bonnie dear, I don't mean to be rude, but seems to me your nose is getting longer. )

Nancy, I won the double kissing dalmations! I thought for sure I wouldn't. I was playing with DGD and forgot to check the bidding last night. Lo and behold there was an e-mail this morning that I won.

Wow Beth and Elaine. You guys definately got more snow than we did. And Elaine, my BIL bugs the crap out of me. Some of the things he says drives me up a wall. LOL, you sound like me....if see his brothers phone number on the phone I yell to DH to get the phone.

Sherry is going to be in a wedding. What fun. I had never heard of Podrinos before. I love learning about how people have different customs.

Karen, yepper depper....my food bill has gone way up, I agree, definately worth it. I bought a vacuum sealer off QVC last night so I can buy at Sam's Club in bulk and vacuum seal foods. Today I steamed a head of cauliflower and some brocolli, so it will be nice to keep it real fresh for during the week because I take them to work for part of my lunch.

Lost 9 lbs folks!

I just received 3 books for diabetic recipes...two by Mr. Food and the other one by two Dr.s at the Joslin Diabetes Center. What great recipes.

Marilyn, those are great pictures!!! Thank you so much for putting them up for all of us to see!!! Congrats on the 9 pounds and the dalmations!!! That's great! BILs are pains sometimes. Sometimes neither of us will answer the phone if we see his number come up He just gets to us now and then. Like he lies about sending gifts to us. I don't care if he sent me a b-day gift or not, but my goodness don't lie about how you found something then it wasn't in stock then you couldn't find it elsewhere... I don't care!!!

Karen, isn't this group great? So so supportive of each other so many different times!!!

We're supposed to get 6" of snow by tomorrow. It's coming down pretty good right now. And the wind is howling a bit, too.
Kids have school off for President's Day.

DH and DS got home. DS's face is totally windburned! They are tired, cold, and grumpy! So what does DH do? He unloads the truck and then heads up to the lake to ice fish! They said there was not a huge turnout for the camporee, about half of the number of Scouts from 2 years ago. DH said it just goes to prove that the no-shows obviously had brains! He questioned why they drove 3 hours one way to freeze on a frozen lake - for the second time!

Oh - and the "hot tub" was actually a plastic swimming pool, that they filled with the frigid lake water and then they had some kind of coils to heat the water. Only one fat Scoutmaster and some older kids/guys jumped in for a couple of minutes. I guess the SM then hopped out and ROLLED on the snow covered ice for a couple of seconds.

Yeah, DH can get really ticked at his bro too. I mean, basically he is a really good guy, but he can just be.......ummm.....wierd at times. He got me really ticked off a few weeks ago, then got drunk and called me about 3 times apologizing that evening. I finally told DH I didn't want to talk to him any more. When he called again DH asked him "what the hell is your problem?"

DS, thankfully, had the brains to stay inside at home. The poor dude is still cold. They said it was sooo cold (well, gee, -10 degrees on a frozen lake in a tent will have that effect on you! ) that it was hard to sleep at night!

Ahem ...... I can beat that story - many times over!

1) DH and I have been married 4 days and we're all looking over our wedding photos and FIL and BIL start talking about one of DH's ex-GF's and how DH kicked her out of the house after a big fight. I never knew he lived with any GFs!!

2) DH and I have been married a couple of months and MIL and FIL hire another (!) one of DH's ex-GFs to work at the office. They asked if I had a problem with that. I said, "YES!" They said, too bad, time to grow up.

3) Married a couple of years and MIL sends a big box of photos down to the house - you guessed it - tons of photos of another ex-GF!

Do ya think they don't like me???
