Afternoon YAYAS!!!!!

Well back from shopping. Seems Rys gameboy advance is not toast. It is working again so he used his gift certificate to buy another game and a light for it. Wanted to let you all know too that Toys R US has 50% off their clearance clothing. I got a bunch of things for the kids for CHEAP prices. I dont think I spent more than five dollars for any of the shirts I bought. Some of them are Osh Kosh

I also bought brand new sneakers for working out. I cant believe I spent that much on shoes. I had another pair of the same sneakers but they were on sale when I bought them the last time. This time I paid full price. I could use them for work but I want to keep them looking nice for our trips to Disney and for exercising.

Went to the grocery store and bought some more good stuff for us to have. It amazes me how much more expensive good food is!!

This is true....untill you consider the alternative costs in health care, shorten life span, joint replacement operations, 20+years on HPB or heart med's.

I'm certainly NOT disagreeing....Ieeeee....It steams my buns everytime I buy ground turkey breast...at $4.99 per lb....and 6'feet away is the gound (fat galore) beef for $1.19!

Keep at it....it is worth it!

MAJOR GRIPE ALERT! I just got back from TDS. There is hardly anything in there that is for adults. Hardly any clothes, they got rid of the socks and pj's, just a few tshirts is all. The entire store was plush and kid's clothes and videos/toys. The new thing I saw was that you could buy parkhopper certificates at TDS now just like you could buy AP certificates. Hadn't seen that before.

Petite yaya is so thoughtful. She saw the price on the starter bracelets at the place at the mall ($28!) and decided she would prefer to wait until I can get them off the internet. What a sweet baby yaya!

Y'all just keep that snow south of here. So far, no snow, just lots of cold wind. You know it's bad when even Jodie is sick of snow!

I have to agree, it is amazing how expensive the good food is. The ground chuck (fat galore as GP said) is so cheap whereas the 90 or 95% fat free and the ground turkey are about $3.50 to $4.00 (depending on day and sales and all that). But you know what, it is so worht it to me!!! Even healthy side aside, the taste of the good foods is so much better in my eyes. That is the funny thing for me. As I got older the taste of fat really is disgusting to me. I have lost my taste for sweets as well. I really am not fond of chocolate anymore too.

Anyway, still snowing here. Waiting for it to stop. Maybe I'll take the day off tomorrow too

That was a matte one Elaine. The kiosk only had 3 little trays of charms, but I have to say several of them were Disney. Oh, and by the way, with the improvements to that mall, they now have a Steak Escape. YAY!!!!!

Oh good food is definitely worth the money. It just makes me mad that they gouge you just because you want to eat healthy. I swear the minute it says healthy or diet the price goes up at least a dollar regardless if its more expensive to produce or not.

Wow 28 dollars for a starter bracelet that is high. I think I got mine for 4.99 and there is no difference between this one and the one on the sites that were listed earlier. The charms themselves are not as good I dont think. Several of mine are starting to turn a little darker.....the charm part not the bracelet part.

Hmmm...yes good food is more expensive, but not as much as I thought. I am buying fresh food and cooking more instead of all of the processed stuff I used to buy....that stuff is expensive too! Bob did comment yesterday on our increased grocery bill though. Hee hee....I just stood up, turned around, winked and said "25 pounds"! He smiled, nodded his head and prceeded to pay the bills!!! Can't argue with good results!
Our Disney Store is still holding onto a few adult things. I confess though....I go in there just for a "Disney fix". An I the only idiot that cries every single time I see that video about the most magical place on Earth? I sure am glad I found the DIS...I know I am not insane cause ya'll are just as bad as me!!

Well Deadman's drop was awesome!!!!! Ice is FAST!!!! I raced the kids....UP the hill!!! Guess who won? ME!!!!! But HOLY SMOKES it is COLD out there!!!! So I am in now with coffee in hand!!!

Interesting bit of photographic trickery there GP.... just so happens I was at that particular event.... and know that you've taken a little creative license in an attempt to cover up the truth. What's that you ask?!? Anyone that's seen him compete knows the real truth, being the kind soul he is, he graciously pulls the rest of the poor guys across the finish line, because by the time they've struggled along behind him, eating the ice chips that fly off his skates, they're all too exhausted to cross the finish line on their own. Got a little tummy update. So far today I have gone without anti nausea meds and eaten and gone out running with NO bad side effects. No nausea or stomach upset!!!! Hopefully this is the start of a good trend!!!!!!

Lucky for you Jodie!!!! I wish that we would have work called off for tomorrow. That hasn't happened though and not sure what it would take for that to happen. I think more likely I will just decide to call in or something like that. We'll see though. THe snow is still coming down and I think soon I will have to go and shovel the driveway for the 5th time today.
