YOU have been sleeping in your room (or whatever it is you do in that room...)

Hey - they are bona fide 100% "medical experiments!" Ok?!

Shep,
What I meant to say, old buddy was: "How about we all saddle up our horses, stick in a big old plug of chaw and ride out and check out the North 40?"

Marilyn,
Well then - wouldn't we all be surprised!! :earseek:

Jodie,
But Shep is like a little brother to me - it's fun to pick on him. I have two older brothers - it's fun to torture someone younger than me!!:bounce:
P.S. Thanks for the save on the story thread! Not where I planned on that one going (honest!). OK has a kilt and does a history thing at schools, etc. Whoops!:o

(I still want to put my name at the end of every post!:()

North 40?..lol...
Who has that much land anymore..?:jester:
I grew up with 2 older brothers and no sisters, & no one 'showed me the ropes' DW had to break me in..;) :o

It is nice to have someone be a 'sister'..:)

I think I missed out on a lotta things...

Shep,
DD's BF's family owns 6 or 7 farms - over 600-700 acres and 1,000 beef cattle!
And she helps to plow the fields! (in platform shoes and make-up! )

It is nice to have someone be a 'sister'..

DH is the oldest of 3 boys - the whole family didn't know what hit them when I married DH (he was the first to marry! MIL didn't like it too much - I took away a little [lot! :o ] of the attention from her. When I would get upset and bawl at work (it's a family owned series of businesses), FIL would wring his hands and pace and murmur, "I don't know what to do, I don't know what to do!"

ROFLMBO!

Wow~~
I don't think my Mom liked DW at first because I was the last one to get married and my Mom 'lost' her baby(hate being the youngest, always referred to as the baby:rolleyes: ), but after mom seen what I saw I don't think she could be any happier than my choice of who to spend the rest of my life with...My mom thought it was strange but DW would help mow grass and do whatever to help out(when we were dating, my dad ran the cemetary so we mowed the grass there, and dw would always help out and mow too)...As for me, at the time only had 1 nephew who was just born(a couple weeks prior to our first date), and she had(I think)8 or 9 nieces and nephews who really broke me in(no experience with any kids..lol) and they all accepted me, and that was so neat, so I pretty much went from a family of 5, to Marrying DW and getting a family of 30....Close families was something I wasn't used to.....:( ...But now her family is so great..they have all accepted me.. as one of their own...
long post..:o

Sherry--congrats...I know you have been working hard on this diet...:) ...

Awwww....sniff sniff....far be it from me to get in the way of a brother and sister bonding with eachother!!! Sniff sniff...carry on!

Pam...hee hee...you're welcome for the save!:teeth:

That is a long post, shep!:p

I used to help DH before we got married, too. Fed his dogs (3!) while he was out traveling, cleaned his house (ok, my Mom did most of that, but he thought I did!), boxed up newspapers to ship instead of a Friday night date. DH thought he was getting a real gem - SURPRISE! Found out right off the bat that I:

A) Hated to clean
B) Hated to cook
C) Have one heck of a quickdraw temper
D) Am generally lazy and shrewish

But I, on the other hand, married a Prince of a Guy!!:Pinkbounc

Awwww....sniff sniff....far be it from me to get in the way of a brother and sister bonding with eachother!!! Sniff sniff...carry on!

Hey, now!! We're not from W VA or anything!!:o :o And shep would probably love to have another 10 sisters, wouldn't you, shep??!!:bounce:

I owe you, big time!, for that save, Jodie!!:o

Shep! Long post...but very nice. How lucky you are!!!

Pam, you too!

Sigh......gotta run for awhile ya'll. Have fun!!

The fluff meter is rising here....:o

10 sisters???
Don't know, afraid they'd be dressing me up or something..
Jodie--

Don't know, afraid they'd be dressing me up or something..

Well... DD did that to her little brother when he was a baby - painted his fingernails and toenails, stuck one of her baby dresses on his, and put barrettes in his hair!:o But I refused to take any photos - didn't want her to have any blackmail ammunition for later years (which we are now in!)

I need to get some laundry done...lol
Maybe shovel the drive after that and go sled riding ..:o

Did I tell you guys that I won tickets to go tubing at the skiing place for 2 hours and a dixie chicks cd on thursday???

Hope to drop kids off and take dw and her SIL & DH saturday...:bounce:

Maybe shovel the drive after that and go sled riding ..

Yeah - manly things!!:bounce: (left out the laundry part - DH has done laundry 3 times in 20 years - once he flooded the laundry room and ruined the floor, next he broke the washer dial, and the 3rd time was when I was in the hospital and had DD - he threw all my good, expensive clothes in with his hunting clothes! )

Have you ever done the tubing thing? DD loves the Dixie Chicks!

 Good morning.
Does everyone have to log in more than once to start the day? It's getting VERY old!! :(

Shep...congrats on the win! I want a younget brother too.....do we all get to torture you? :jester:

Michele and Marilyn....{{{hugs}}} good luck on test results today.

Sherry and Karen .....good going girls!!

Pam...PLEEEEAAAASSSEEEE put super glue on my keyboard :teeth: I so want a new one!! This one actually has a dent on the space bar from my thumb strike......I need a new mouse too...so do something to that too, please ;)

Elaine good luck tomorrow.....I'll be thinking of you.
I have an appointment too :( New doctor :( I hate change!!

Nancy,
1 tube of extra strength super glue headed to Washington! DD got a new mouse - it's a ladybug in honor of her friend who died a year ago this past Saturday.

Shep, congrats on the win! I love the Dixie Chicks. And have fun tubing.

Don't know, afraid they'd be dressing me up or something

That would be fun! :bounce: :bounce: Maybe some of the dresses Apolo has been wearing lately will fit ya. :teeth:

I have an appointment too New doctor I hate change!!

And good luck on your appointment too Nancy. I don't like going to new doctors either. :(

Hi all! OMG, I could not believe ya'll posted more than 20 pages since I last posted!! Been ketchuping here at work instead of working:o No time to address everything, but.....

Go, Karen! I'm with you, girl! I love my Richard Simmons "Dance Your Pants Off". It's much easier than "Sweatin' to the Oldies" or the disco one. I can keep up!!

Glad to see you arrived home safe and sound, Jennifer! Looking forward to trip report and pix!!

Debbie, where are YOUR pix from your trip??!!!

Shep, I love reading your posts. This last long one.....whew!!! I really like having you for a bother here, too, and am really looking forward to meeting you and Amanda and the girls this summer!

You ladies who phoned me this weekend.....thank you so very much! You don't know how chatting with you both lifted my spirits. When I get so caught up in RL and don't have time to ketchup or even log on, I start to feel kinda left behind!

More snow here today.......getting REALLY tired of it!!

I don't believe in dw doing all the cleaning and what not, I belief it should be 50/50, now cooking is another story, she does 99% of it...At one time I used to iron, but now I just hang the clothes up as soon as i pull them from the dryer :o
I shoveled the drive, not much to do since most of it melted, and we made some snowmen but can't post pics 'cause image station is down..
I have tubed before but not there, can't wait..:)

It is nice being a bother here, but as RMD said it, I better be careful or I'll have to turn im my man card
;)
