No hoe-down for me - in fact, I am ready to head off to bed!
I have been dragging all week! Totally wiped out!!
Had to work the spaghetti dinner for DD's school's after-prom committee yesterday for 5 hours. Let's just say that I dished up so much spaghetti that I skipped dinner!!
Then DD says, "After-prom this year sounds lame, I think I'll skip it and just do the prom dance!" Grrrrrrr.....
I told to go ahead and skip it - but she better have her butt home at midnight that night because she ain't running amok on her own!!
DH's friend's Dad (and also DH's friend) died and we went to the funeral home after the spaghetti dinner. Then I got up at 6:30 am this morning as DS had a Scout First Aid Meet and I got the privilege of car-pooling 4 teenage boys - let's just say the car talk was ummmmmm....... very enlightening and side splitting. (The boys were like, "You're so much more cooler than most of the Dads!"
)
DS got the confirmation back from Texas that he is indeed a bona fide Eagle Scout - setting the ceremony up for the end of June!!
Sadly, it's already deadline again.
So - what kind of tags can we give you, Marilyn???
