DH finished jewelry box number one. It is beautiful!! Off to the post office (yet again) to get it sent off.

I'm going shopping too, Tara. Costco is one stop. Love that store! But it is dangerous!!

Sherry.....take that cough syrup back! (You need to go to get new anyway).

If I have time later, I will see about putting my cute snowman back in....but he might get so small you can't see him.
Now...if I was being rebelious, I would start reporting all the oversized siggies I see everywhere !!

Oh not entirely stingy... y'all can have any of the pirates from the Black Pearl and you can have Capt Jack & his crew... but when it comes to Mr. William Turner... no way not sharing that boy

. Oh poor pitiful me, I lurked around MeanLaureens 60 second pity party for a while hoping to snap out of this and get strong. But, it didn't work. I just so want my life to get back to some type of normality before I lose it! AND that will be the end of my feeling sorry for myself for now. 'Scuse me if I do nothing but, lurk for a while 'cause I hate to be a bummer all the time.

No pictures of that jewlery box. It was finished last night and packed up this morning.....but DD's should be ready Thursday, so I will get pictures then. They are the same except for the color of the lining.

Oh guess, what? DS finally got his "cookie box". Took it 2 weeks (PRIORITY!) to go to CA by way of MN and it looked like it had been thrown the whole way
I now have another that is listed as "misdirected" I do hope it isn't as bad.

Seriously, RoseMary - I don't know how you do it - 1 family in 2 different states. Please don't lurk - that's what we are here for, to lend an ear and hopefully some understanding and comforting words.

Satine - yeah - sure - I *cried* yes CRIED the whole way home from the post office today when yet again there was NO card from you. My tears saturated the envelopes of Kimmar and RoseMary's cards......



Nancy - I'd be pretty darn ticked out the misdirected packages. UPS destroyed 5 boxes in the last 2 months from my huge shipments- they called me up and had me file claims. Is your DS not coming home for Christmas? But I assume your DD is, right? And - does DS like his new job and how is his GF adjusting to CA living???

No, DS isn't coming home Our first year without him
They are doing the every other year thing and it is GF's year since her parents just moved down there.
She likes it....she is a CA girl and since her parents moved there, nothing to keep her up here. She will be starting law school in the fall.
DD will be home on the 23rd. It sure will be quiet around here.

Nice day today, rainy, not snowy or icy, warmer, busy work day. Boss is off for week and half. It's my turn to be the one.

DH and DS just finishing up repainting the "music" room. Looks like we are being displaced by our 2 DSs to that room for computer/office and they are moving out into this space. DS is buying a drum set and another guitar I guess. I'm shopping for a good set of earphones.

Saw something on TV about ER-4p earphones from etymotic.com. They sound wonderful (expensive, but wonderful). Too much $ for my sadly empty purse. I thought I wanted the Bose ones til I saw these.
