Glad the baby is doing better, hope mom feels better soon.
Many thoughts to Elaine and her sil father and to Pam's family and the family of the child killed! That's terrible.

Worked this evening and people were all so friendly!!! I couldn't believe how smoothly the night went. It makes the rest of the coming season look pretty good.

Went shopping and finished getting the goodies for my exchange, will send it out in the morning. Also, my best friend who lives in St. Louis told me that she was ready for winter (she just moved their in Feb.) with everything except a scarf and ear muffs, so while I was shopping tonight I found her two scarfs and 2 ear muffs all of which can be interchanged. So I'm mailing that tomorrow too.

Okay, gotta sleep. Hope everyone has a good evening. Will probably be scarce for the next couple of days. I have two papers due by Sunday, a project due by friday, not to mention a final exam on thursday. But then to top it off, tomorrow they are bringing Jarrod's new bedroom furniture so i have to break down his furniture in the morning and then they are coming to put new windows in on monday so i have to move everything away from all of the windows. ugh we have too much crap in this house!!!

Tara, that's wonderful that work went so well for you last night! I saw some really nasty stuff on the news and I did try the 5:00am get-up-and-go-shopping routine once. My package should be arriving at its destination today...it was sent out UPS on Wednesday !!

(AND, some good news: my DMom arrivied from Puerto Rico on Monday to get a 2nd opinion on a possible surgery to have a pacemaker installed. Long story short, she does NOT need a pacemaker, nor are 3 of her arteries clogged. However, her blood pressure is REALLY high and 2 "electrical impulses" are not functioning properly, so she's being regulated with a heart monitor for a few days)

BTW ~ I bought POTC on Thursday!! Watched it 3 times already *drool*

Beth, Junior is doing better. Still not sleeping well at all, but the pain isn't near as bad as it was.

okay and just to cheer Nancy up I'll tell you my stupid story of the day. I was trying to make Evan some chocolate milk, so I was looking around the cabinets to see where the bottle of chocolate was moved to (while chatting with dh) and so I spot a tall bottle on the counter and pick it up and pour it in the milk. Then I happen to notice that the "chocolate" is red. I had picked up the ketchup bottle instead of the chocolate

Thanx for the birthday wishes, gang! Been having a great day even though DH is at work. He presented me with the most beautiful white gold locket with teeny little diamonds on it. I was positively floored!!! THEN he told me that he got it because he likes to see me sparkle!!! OMG!!! What a Prince!!!!

Got my hair done, finally! Been needing to get that racing stripe taken care of for a couple of weeks now! It's a tad lighter than I like, but still looks natural. Picked up a few things at the grocery store and then splurged and got my nails done. Happy birthday to me!! Of course, now I can't type......but what the hey--you're only young once, right??!!

Nancy, how upsetting about your CC!!!! Glad to hear the bank is taking care of everything so quickly.

Sherry, I'm sorry Junior isn't sleeping better, but glad the pain is subsiding. My ex had shoulder surgery for a torn rotator cuff several years back. They got in there and found it wasn't even torn, he just had bursitis! His recovery was long and slow, too. I just hope Jr. isn't whining like my ex did

I'm decorating, too, Kristy! Got the CD player cranked up, but you won't believe what I'm listening too. I managed to find a CD of the very same Perry Como record album my parents used to play at Christmas when I was little!! Gawd, I feel like I'm 8 years old again!! Only thing is, this CD doesn't have the skip in it like our record did. I keep expecting Rudolph to go, "Then one foggy Christmas Eve....stmas Eve...stmas Eve....stmas Eve..."!!!!
