Good Morning all!

I'm feeling better this morning. My blood pressure was completely normal yesterday afternoon, so I don't know why it was high in the morning. I also don't feel sick like I did yesterday. Maybe it was just a bug trying to get me. I did put my feet up when I got home from my banquet and I noticed my that my feet looked like the pillsbury dough boy!!! It was quite comical. When I was pregnant with Jar I swelled really bad then too and my grandfather, who was nearing his end, had congestive heart failutre so he was very swollen too, he and I would compare ankles each day to see who HAD ankles or who had the biggest ankles. It was funny because mine were always way bigger than his!! Wednesday was the 4th anniversary of his death, but we figure he died two days before Jar was born to make sure that when Jar was born so early and sick that he could protect him!

Anyway, gotta run and pick up the cake today, gotta go to the other side of town and drop a baby gift before a shower that is today, then dress for the wedding, drop Jar off at my brother and sis in laws (they are babysitting for me this afternoon...so they are taking him to Toys R Us to let him pick out his birthday present... I'm almost afraid of what they will come home with!!) then I have the wedding tonight. I was gonna wear a dress but then I realized I didn't have any fat pantyhose (and these thighs would not feel good smacking into each other !!) so I'm gonna go for pants. Might as well be comfy!

Chicago Crew!!! Glad things are going well for you! Hope you are not having too much fun, I havent seen the news so I don't know if you all have made any headlines! But if not...keep working there is still time! Wish I was there!

Thanks for all the BD wishes for Jarrod. I will pass them on! I will tell him his yaya aunts all sent him BD wishes!

spent the day watching movies here. Family seems to have colds. Just hope they keep jerms to themselves. Can't take any cold meds.

Back from the wedding. It was goregous(ugh I can't spell!). The bride looked fantastic! The food was incredible and the drinks were free....just wish I could have had more than one wine spritzer!!! hehehe

Pam, I meant to congratulate you on your brainiac children!! That's too cool!

I'm gonna go find the pics Tina mentioned and then hit the hay. I have a bunch to do before all the kids come to the party! The cake is absolutely gorgeous! I haven't let jarrod see it because I don't want him destroying parts of the cake so that he gets the best part!!

Hey everyone!!

Sorry I haven't been around. Its been a busy week for us.

Glad to hear all the YaYa's are having a wonderful time in Chicago!!! Loved the picture with all the stuffed babies!!

This is kinda a sad morning for us. My dh's grandmother died this morning at 4:30 AM. We knew it was coming and she hasnt been grandma for a long time because of Alzheimers but its still very sad.

Found out what I have and its not fibromyalgia. I have inflammatory arthritis. I am on Celebrex twice a day and a very small small dose of prednisone along with hot showers and soaking my hands in a basin of hot water twice a day. Everything is not wonderful yet but Im getting better. It will also help when I get some of this weight off of me. My regular doctor wants me on the South Beach Diet not only for my arthritis but also for my cholesterol and triglycerides which are SKY HIGH.

All spangles are now safely adhered, Pammy. Lost a few during the Born to Be Wild number, but I think I managed to retrieve them all. Crawling under that one guy's table to get that laaaast one was sooooo embarrassing!!!! Guess I shoulda superglued the little suckers.

Hi'ya Kristy! What's up at my house... eh. Not a darn thing. Homeschooled son is frantically throwing together a history report, I'm finishing the laaaaast page of our first WDW trip, scrap booked photo album thingy, aaaannnnd.... I turned on the computer this morning to see that either DH or DS kindly removed the giant red L from the forehead of my Aragorn wallpaper picture, that DS created in "Paint" on day when I wasn't looking.... and replaced it with an enormous rather effeminate looking yellow crown emblazoned with a big blue E on the front. Buttheads.

Hi Karen!! No fibro!?!? No way!?! All this time it was arthritis and not fibro!? I'm so glad to hear that you're now on the right road to finding solutions! That's wonderful!! How are DH and the kids doing these days?
