Nancy and I had a wonderful time yesterday!! However, she is a very bad influence!!!! I now have an aorable little Emma!! Yes, we went to BaB and I have a kid too!!!

We had a great time yesterday, laughed until we cried and left Chicago pretty much unscathed.....we figured we would let the bigger group take care of that!

Talked to Todd and Amanda and they were jsut about to the hotel....so all is looking good!

I am headed to the Dr's soon and will meet up with everybody tonight!!!!

Survivor talk....I wasn't really happy when you know who won immunity b/c I wanted the other person to have it....luckily that person was still safe. Not really disappointed with who got the boot....she deserved it.

Good afternoon folks. After three days of physical therapy on my ankle, I'm still smiling. I guess he isn't pushing me hard enough. Even though it was ice that caused my fall and subsequent break, Phil (my physical therapist) keeps telling me that ice is now my friend. I've been icing my ankle for three days and the swelling has finally subsided. I can actually feel the 6 screws that Dr. Helper used to put my fibula back together. My range of motion is increasing every day. I will spend the weekend stretching my Achillies tendon as that is currently the limiting factor in regaining the ability to walk. I will spend the weekend in Columbus at the Ohio Science Olympiad Finals where DD Sarah and her middle school team will compete with some of the best and brightest students in Ohio for a place in the national competition. When I mentioned to DS James that I'd be sitting around all day and that I wasn't going to be able to follow Sarah around campus, he said that I could stay home with him. I told him that I'd rather go to Chicago for pizza. He told me that he'd be glad to drive me to Chicago. Ack. Now he tells me. I can't disappoint Sarah, so I'm going to stick with my original plans.

The planned DISmeet at Polaris this evening is probably not going to be very large. There are only a couple of others who will be able to make it, and they haven't posted on the thread in a long time. Perhaps this will turn into a romantic dinner with my wife instead of a DISmeet. So I can't lose either way.

Again I want to wish safe travels for all those going to Chicago this weekend (and for that matter anyone else travelling this weekend). Be safe. Have fun. Take video (or else Barry Hom will hunt you down). And don't eat too much pizza.

I guess that leaves TC, Boo, Pam, Kristy, Tina, Lily (where she been hiding?), Suzanne, and myself here to ***entertain*** the boys!! Woohoo!!!! Oops, TC you can have the pool table and game room all to yourself...you don't have to entertain the boys!!

I've been really crabby all day and I don't know why! I've been a little nauseaus and had some cramps But they seem to have subsided, but I still feel icky! My banquet is tonight and I'm going if it kills me. I also feel the need for a glass of wine!! I've done enough Whinging today so I might as well drink (just 1).

Today is Jarrod's 4th birthday and he started it off by pushing the icing down on all of the cupcakes in the packaging (from BJ's Wholesale Club). He said he wanted to have the only "poofie one" and the rest of the class get the squished ones . I will never understand children!

Thanks for all the congrats. I'm really happy and I'm glad I can count down to graduation now!! Less than one month!

Gonna run, get my blood pressure checked again, it was high this morning, so the school nurse wanted to see me this afternoon. I'll check in tonight to find out how the gang is doing!!

The house is starting to get in shape...guess we CAN put it on the market...IN A WEEK. Ok, I can stop this before I have an asthma attack, lol!

TC, glad that your ankle is progressing...sorry you couldn't get to chicago. If no one ends up in the clink, perhaps it can become an annual event? I'm game for one in Chicago!
