The shower is still A GO for April 17th 3pm est. All packages should be mailed out by April 5th. If you want to send a package but do not have the address...please PM me. After the packages have been mailed I'll send out a group PM to all the participants with info about using MSN messenger for the chat

Well, my car is at the shop getting brakes and front shocks .
Only took it for tire rotation but, I kinda knew I needed brakes.
At least they are open on Sun. and they are just down the street. guess that leaves me with no other choice but, to clean

Yup Tina we made it to church with time to spare. Never ended up going to a big persons sermon because they were short some Sunday school teachers for after the kids services so dh and I filled in. it was fun! What kind of amazed me was they had real Coke and Lemonade for the kids to drink for snack and most of the kids went for the Coke. I must have the only kids who are not allowed to have caffine and know to steer clear of it at all times.

Din Din is in the crockpot and we are getting ready to take the munchkins to the park to play for awhile then its home to clean the house

Rosemary I hope your car is fixed quickly and it doesnt cost you an arm and a leg.

Kimmie, last night was the LOTR symphony concert. It was the Columbus Symphony Orchestra with Howard Shore directing. The LOTR tour started in Wellington. Now they stop in different cities and Howard Shore conducts with the local symphony.

Hi Tina! Makes total sense about the ceramic tile there... if I ever live my dream and move south, I'll probably skip carpeting in most of the rooms!

Karen, I hope you all enjoyed the day! I guess I am not shocked about the Coke... we were allowed it, but only after we had milk at meals. Otherwise we always had punch or soft drinks.

DH's father used to make them drink milk and was always yelling at them because he "just knew" they were sneaking soda because they all had acne.....come to find out, they are lactose intolerant.


Work out instead of cleaning, Elaine??.....why not both??

I'm working hard....trying to get it all done this week so I can play next week. DH may be going on another trip.

Still thinking about Todd's DF...hope it is all going well.

Todd's Dad made it through the surgery. It ended up being a triple instead of a quadruple. Todd is now taking his Mom home to get some clothes, pick up the girls and will then take his Mom back to the hospital once he brings the girls to me. His Mom will stay with us for another night, maybe more but not sure. We are the closest to the hospital. His Dad did wake up a little, it took 4 hrs for him to wake up...but I think when I go back at 8pm for the next visiting time slot he will be more awake. Thanks for all the prayers!

Why not both? Because I was beat after the Pilates! Oh my, no joke this stuff works! Luis noticed after a week or so the difference in my stomach. I just hope I see it in my thighs as well

LOL, Nancy!! That is too too funny there about the lactose intolerant kids! I had a friend like that, and her dad was the same way... fortunately she lived with her mom and eventually the dad believed them that was why she was always sick when she visited him

Amanda thank you so much for the update. Todd's dad and the family will continue in my prayers. I am so happy everything went so well. They do keep them pretty drugged up the first day so he might not be as awake as you would expect.

I guess what threw me was the amount of kids allowed to have caffine. These kids are hyper enough without it. I only had one come up to me and say Im not allowed caffine. I allow my boys to have soda on occassion but it has to be caffine free as they are both ADHD and hyper enough without the added help LOL.

Just a quick hi and ketchup....Wondeful news for Todd and Amanda, I'll keep you all in my thoughts!!
Karen....good to see you so upbeat!! I'm glad the meds are working for you. (I'm a firm believer in meds anyway, I tried the Chiropractor for my headahces and the only thing it relieved me of was my money!! I was able to go back to my head drugs 3 weeks ago and haven't had one since...not to mention the wallet still has money in it!!!)
Kristy..cool scrappin pages! me...ain't never gonna happen...I have all the patience in the world for cross stitch but not for something that I have to do the thinking on !

I took Jar to the Marine science musuem. We saw it in record time. A nearly 4 year old does not have the patience for gawking for extended periods of time! the did have a cool magic school bus exhibit but it was too old for jarrod and too young for my students. darn!

I'm getting ready to go for my dinner. I'll report in later about my party!

Have fun and hello to all I didn't personally respond to. Not enough hours in the day...did finish gathering my tax stuff for my friend that is going to do my taxes. Hopefully I'll get enough back to pay for my trip this fall so I don't have to worry about it!! bye
