Kim emotionally Im in a better place today even with all the doctors appts and all today. Physically wellllllllllll I just got started back on Prednisone today. Seems this cold wants to head south to my chest and they arent taking any chances with me considering what happened in Dec/Jan. How are you doing sweetie??

Missed all the cookware talk. Well, I have caphalon and I love it! Yep, spent way too much money on it even got a double burner griddle that is wonderful. Also, have the kitchen-aid stand mixer. Got that as an anniversary gift from work a couple years ago.

Yeah, Kimmie I am still shocked myself with the hair. It hangs funny right now and sometimes it looks great and other times, well I just don't like how it flips out. Stupid curl is a PITA to deal with too... know I remember why I had it longer I'm thinking that 8-10 inches was too much gone. Oh and Kim, I once went from really long to chin length hair... over a foot gone... that was rough.

Tina, enjoy Kimmie's sig... I think that mean she should post here more dont' you?

I'm way behind in PMs, and I am sorry for that. I am swamped at work, taking on more as of Monday and been kind of not with it at night to get it all done. FOrgive me and hopefully I can get the PMs either later tonight or tomrorow.

Kim, nope, my hair doesn't grow that fast-especially not compared to sister. She can get chin length and within a year, her curly hair is to the middle of her back. Took me a long time to get my hair that long and it was gone in 5 minutes, lol!

It's just soft spiral curls that I brush out to a wave, but they curl the way they want to and not the way you want them to And I am lucky like your sister... my hair grows fast too so if this is too short, within a month I think I'll like it.

When we get back to the hotel at night, lo and behold what do my wondering eyes see, but a towel dollie. She is very cute and propped up in the window. I am giggling and all a glow and Greg can't figure out what the big deal it!! Yes, another first!!!! My first towel something or other!!! Off to bed with happy thoughts!!!

Mickey and Minnie call again, first thing in the morning. Funny thing is, they never really woke me up. I was already up anyway!!! Time to get ready for MGM Studios. Of course it takes no time to shower and go and fill those refillable mugs, gotta get your 12 bucks worth ya know, and we are off and running!!!

We get to the gate and wait, and wait and wait. They let us in and we get to the rope and we wait, and wait and wait!! Finally it is 9 am. Rope drops and we are off and running...or being run over!!!!! Anyway we get to ToT and all is good! While in line we overhear a poor little kid ask if the ride is scary. Dad replies, "This is just like the Haunted Mansion!" Greg and I bust out laughing!!!

We make it on the ride, first time without the bar mind you, and of course I am scared silly. Not half as bad as teh poor kid who has no clue this is not like the Haunted Mansion, but I have worked myself into a pretty good frenzy. The ride is awesome!! Everybody on our car, and there were a lot of seasoned riders, commented that thatwas one of the best sequences ever!!! I have to agree it was pretty awesome. Just like the Haunted Mansion!!! Off and running to Rock n RollerCoaster!

No line, a total walk on!! So on we go!!! Again, the ride is fabulous and I think to myself what a way to start a day! Yes, life is good!!! But now my tummy and Greg's tummy is not too happy with us. So off to find a touch of breakfast. Fresh fruit and frozen coffee, yum!! We figure we had better think about a lunch ressie to, so off to see the nice man at the PS booth!! Prime Time it is for 11:05! We are happy kids!!!

WHat to do till 11? Well that is pretty easy! Forst there is the Great Movie Ride. We got the gangster side. What fun! Then there was Who Wants to be a Millionare, Greg hates this show. In fact he often showed me his fastest finger!!! He got sucha kick out of that. He also loved that I never made it int he top ten!!! Oh well, it was fun anyway!!! Off to see the Muppets!! What a cute show!! But now it is time for lunch!!!

I had the Penne Pasta and Shrimp and Greg had the Pot Roast! Both were wonderful. All of our cousins were from the MIdwest, mainly Michigan. Our server was from Armania and had a bit of a time pulling of the funny role, but she tried and all was good!!! Especially the S'mores we had for dessert!!!! YUMMY!!! If you have not had them....DO!!! We are stuffed and now it is time to head toward the Magic Kingdom. Off and running!!!

We get to the Magic Kingdom and decide to ride Big Thunder Mountain. Darn, we have to ride this ride twice in a row to get back to the same station from where we started!! Oh nad because of the ECV, we have to enter through the exit....no line. What a shame. I really was hoping to wait 60 minutes to ride that ride just once!! Yes, we loved that ride and the ease of getting on made me want to do it more than once a day, but I was good and only did it once everytime we were in the park!

Guess what! It is jsut about time for the 3 o'clock parade. Again, this is afirst for us and we find ourselves a nice spot at the hub on the curb. Greg being the nice guy that he is, heads over to the Dole Whip stand to get well you know, Dole Whips!! Yes, I have had many this trip!!! By the time he gets back the marching bands are headed down main street. One from our area even!! We yell and cheer!! Go Indiana!! Next the pre parade and preview for the new movie Home on the Range. This looks like it could be very cute!!

And then finally the parade. Of course there was the lady who thinks that even though she shows up at the last possible minute, she and her children are entitled to sit right in front of us. Well, I am not having that!!! Sorry! I am a big meanie that way. I did let the kids sit in front, but when she tried to I gave her the evil eye!! Well, she wasn't happy with me and made sure to sit as close as possible without making me mad...she kept knocking my chair, spilling stuff and making a total fool of herself trying to fit her not so little self into a very little space. Well, the littel space she sqeezed herself into happend to have a huge wad of gum on the sidewalk. Guess where it ended up.....all over her shorts!! Boy was she mad!!!! I suppose it was in poor taste for Greg and I to quietly snicker, but this lady was something else. Needless to say we left her swearing at the curb after the parade and headed for Space Mountain.

We got a fast pass for Space as well as a fast pass for Buzz and exchanged my Pal Mickey! He seemed to be having some problems. Rode Space Mountain, the PeopleMover, TimeKeeper and then Buzz!! Guess what, time for a Turkey Leg!!! Yummy!!! Love those turkey legs.

We found some nice handicapped seating for Spectro and Wishes. Greg is off and running to get but yet another Dole Whip. We meet up with some very nice people agian waiting for the parade. Poor Greg, he met the lady who not shut up!!! Another funny thing we hear form the nice lady Greg met who is a castmember......"Grandma, where does Tinkerbelle go when she is done flying?" Grandma, "Into a big pile of mattresses!!" Greg busts out laughing and in his best sponship voice proclaims, "This ride sponsered by Seally. I lost it!! Too funny!! Anyway Greg's new friend talks all the way through the parade and fireworks. He is soooo tolerant!!! But he still had fun just the same.

After the fireworks we find that Fantasy land is just about empty so on all of the rides we go. We do Peter Pan, Snow White, Pooh.
Then off to the Haunted Mansion and finally Buzz. We ride Buzz 4 times in a row, just becasue the guy is really nice!!! It has been a long day and we are pooped!

Back to the room and off to sleep! Tomorrow we are sleeping in!!!!!!

Liz, sounds like a great day!!! I sure miss being able to ride ToT... maybe some day I can get on that one again! I shouldn't snicker about the lady, but I did. That gets to me too. I always let kids (as long as they are shorter than me) get in front of me, but I swear just because I am an adult doesn't mean your kids that are taller than me can get in front of me so I can miss seeing things too (yes it doesn't take much for a 12 yo to be taller than me )

Anywho, Hi Sherry!! How are things wrapping up this week for you with the boys?

First post,

Thanks for all the well wishes for my gd. I'm in a better frame of mind these days. I'm eating better and testing my blood and it staying well below the high area. It seems to me that maybe their testing equipment wasn't so good, my blood has stayed below one hundred since I took the second test. Oh well, it is helping my mother since she has type 2 diabetes and then hopefully I will be able to lose the baby weight plus some once the baby gets here!

Catch up time:

cookware: some expensive, some not, my mom still has the revere wear she got as a wedding gift to her first husband ( my paternal unit!) 35 years ago this month. Looking to replace it in the next 35 years

Liz had a great trip..hubby's a movie star, dog is treated royally, and some people during parades can be a bit annoying. PC was great, mickey really calls in the morning and ate at prime time. If anyone eats at prime time and gets brother Jeff, that is my son's uncle that we see when we go down there!

Haircuts and styles: had about 10 inches cut off last may after having the 80's do since the early 80's!!! Love the salon, love to have people wash my hair or curl it or cut it. So relaxing!!! no advice on what to do! I let my hairstylist decide the last time!

Amanda has someone sneaking in and using her computer to dis at work. Catch em!!!
