Morning ya yas.

No corned beef and cabbage here as I didn't get to go grocery shopping. It was a trip to our favorite microbrewery instead. I had steak with a Jameson's cream demi glace...the chef's nod to Ireland. Also had a stout that was very similar to Guiness.

Feeling a little better today, but still peeved. I went to go delete some posts and the DIS won't let me. Argh.

Kristy, no jumping on the furniture. We had a man eating couch and I don't want a repeat. Must be comfy enough, I fell asleep on the loveseat during Good Eats. It's a little shorter than the old one, so my feet hang over.

Nancy, hope your hubby gets taken care of really soon. Probably frustrating to see another doctor and have to start from scratch.

No icky's here that are catching...just those blasted migraines that threaten to return.

Pam, maybe they wanted to send to the recipient directly? Dunno, that's weird. I know of an online retailer that ships everything Airborne to the post office, and they deliver it.

BEthie, nice basket there. Amanda, looks like everyone at your house is gonna have a nice chocolate fix!

Shep, thanks for the kind words...I'm too nice to the boss and need to give her the 'scared straight' talk. Makes me want to ask "would you rather I only gave 2 weeks notice?"

Mostly Irish here, but mom cooked good italian. I learned how, too...so that's why I'd never survive on a low carb diet.

All! Not much time here, just found out my co worker, who broke her arm skiing last week will be out until the 31st.
So, a few prayers & PD for her please! She waited 4 days before going to the dr., thought it was just bruised . So, I have another week and a half of doing her desk and mine, yuck! Oh well, I'll just do the best I can do.

Survivor fans, ! That's all I'll say for those that haven't seen it yet.

Mandy talked me into giving her the bunny. She wanted it so bad that she was willing to give me anything out of her bucket. I thought that was sweet.

No corn beef or cabbage at my house yesterday. Dad and I had roast that I put in the crockpot yesterday morning. Made it with low fat mushroom soup and he didn't even say a word

Liz....enjoy your birthday trip today!

Nancy, I'm not even a dr. and I had the thought that the growth may be the cause of his vocal chord problem! Hope all the new testing goes smoothly and quickly and your DH is soon back to normal. I know you both must be frustrated with how long this is taking!

so, Elaine got to see Clay sing again! I never seem to be home when AI is on so I haven't gotten a chance to see what everyone is talking about!

Suzanne, I didn't get to the store for my corned beef either DH was home and made his staple--hamburgers and french fries. I haven't been able to delete posts for the last several months, either. Keep getting the message that I don't have authorization or something to that effect--like it doesn't recognize me as the author!! I still think your boss is overreacting and getting upset over nothing.

Well, guess I better put something that looks like work on my computer screen. Nothing to do so far today, but the boss is in and I really don't want another project......

Amanda what a great goodie basket you got! I loved those pics of the girls with all the stuff. Although my 2 oldest are teens I still enjoy making Easter baskets for them--they just get big guy stuff like CD's, candy, and a little money.
Pam I know you dont want to hear this but its hot down here. Been 80 for alteast the past week--we have been using our a/c. I'd really like to have some cooler weather come down here.

Well, at first they thought DH's vocal chord problem was virual.....but it "may" be connected to the growth. Guess they will know more with the unltrsound. See if it is wrapped around or what's going on.
So....we wait more.
If the growth is wrapped around, the chord may still get nicked in surgery and then it still won't work.

Anyway....enjoy the sun those that have it!

We got a 51" Toshiba..
Elaine got a 57" Hitachi or was it Toshiba?

Ours is HD ready...
Really like it..
Gotta have stereo hooked up to it to..

LOL, I beat Kristy to getting a Clay CD Seriously I just got mine at Walmart. I thought that I saw Ruben's single at Target once... could be wrong though. I've also seen it on Amazon, but if you have a Walmart near by ours was totally stocked!

Lily, do go on the bus to Windsor!!! I am sure youw il have a blast!!! Enjoy the hair cut too!

Todd, you are right, we got the 57" Hitachi. Was torn between the Sony and the Toshiba and then we saw the Hitachi. I admit, the coloring enhancements on the Toshiba just weren't my thing. Nice and bright though! Ours is HD as well... we even have the digital cable and HDTV set up for the few channels we get. Sterero is hooked up to ours as well
