Elaine- the cable guy got here at exactly 2:00. Well, he was in and out of here in about 15 min. and said he was going to Apt.206 next. Told him I hoped that was the one above me. No one lived there when we first moved in. Well, last weekend a heard of elephants moved in. Now I know when you have people living above you it is not gonna be as quiet and all. BUT, geez louise it sounds like these kids are running from one end of the apt to the other and jumping off the beds,and.........I was just hoping if he was going up to hook up cable for them it would give the kids something to do other than give me a headache. AND it appears it has worked. Either that or they went out!?! Anyway, I'm enjoying the quiet right now. Even DS is napping. But, I do hear thunder rumbling out there. Ahhh just what we need a nice thunderstorm.............................

It is raining here. Was thundering so hard the house shook. Seems to have calmed down.

The school carnival was okay. Could have done without being at a booth where you had to have 4 players to play. The ironic thing is that the odds didn't change whether there was 1 or 4 players

Everyone is cleaning. I need to but I think that can wait. I need to sew a cover for my Dad's bird cage. May do that later.

RM...glad the cable guy came. Hope it calms down above you.

Just got back from Junior's uncle's retirement party. Had a fun time.

It rained here a bit ago and the temps dropped quite a bit.

Oh and this is such a minor thing, but I found a vodka I can drink!!! Most grain alcohol and beer makes my stomach turn even after one drink. I like some of the mixed drinks out there, and so now once in a blue moon I can have them since they have potato vodka. A friend of mine told me about it last night and I had about a half a drink, felt perfect today!! Really stupid, but it is so nice when I can find something I used to enjoy but I can't anymore.

Good morning all!!! The rain has arrived, but it's not bad. Temp hasn't dropped far and it's just more like April. How did it get to be May already?!!

Sherry, you are one heck of a party person! Between the boys and their friends and your extended families, it seems there is a party somewhere just about every weekend! No wonder you've been able to stay so thin, I bet you never get much chance to sit down and relax! Glad the retirement party was good--sometimes they can be sad, I know.
