Oh forgot to say, Paige read the list of supplies to get for the care pkgs and cracked up at the Pringles, "Mom, that's just plain wierd! They're adults!!!" Heheheheee....:p

Elaine,

I cannot possibly imagine where you would go using your vouchers. ;) :teeth:

I asked Bubble Boy what the 'funniest' jokes he knew were, and this is what he came up with. But, if you're 5 I guess they're hysterical.

Nancy I just checked my PMs and PMd you back. Im doing the silliest happy dance you ever saw over here!!!!

Elaine can we say WDW???? HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE

Nancy I think also I have been going too low on calories and too low on fat. Even eating three decent meals a day and a snack Ive only hit about 800-900 calories a day and only about maybe five or six grams of fat on average. I know I should be doing at least 1200 calories but I cant make myself eat that much. I think my body might be rebelling. Before the diet I rarely ate breakfast or lunch and mainly only ate dinner but those were pretty calorie laden. Now Im eating three meals a day and its too much food.

Truer words have never been spoken Dave. :teeth:

My 5YO is a NUT.

Ooooh. I'm a lousy joke teller... can I have another assignment? There must be some other way I could contribute some silliness and fun to the thread... believe me, you don't want me telling jokes... I kill'em.

Warning: This post will in no way contribute to any silliness or fun, but I'll endeavor to do so in the very near future. :)

The Dr. said, after I blew into the little thingamabob: "Well, it'll keep you out of the hospital, but that wasn't terribly impressive." Geesh.... if he thought I was bad today, he should've seen me two days ago. He would've most likely bypassed the hospital and called for a body bag. :( He perscribed another round of Zithromax and THREE inhalers?!?! Hello!?! Three!?!! Do I use these all at once ur' whut? I've never used inhalers before... THREE?!?! Geesh...I'd say he's out of his mind, but he said: "How come you keep looking younger and younger and I just get older?" :p Okay, so he can't be too far out of his mind if he can fling out charming little numbers like that, right? ;)

Oh... and the weenie award today, goes to........ my backwoods, hillbilly, piece of crap, pathetic excuse for a pharmacy! I go in to fill the meds: "They'll be ready in an hour". Awwww.... $%^&! I did that on Sunday... no thanks. Then she looks at the scrips again.... "Oh. We need to order this one. It won't be here until tomorrow".... I say: "Ok" She then says: "After two". Oh puhleeeze!! Sooooo.... apparantly I'm one breath away from being in the hospital, and as yet, still have no meds. Juuuuust peachy!!

Oh, and by the way....did I mention my son's teacher is an idiot? She has reduced the school's disciplinary policy to something that has absolutely zero impact on the kids. In our house, if Cam brought home a pink slip... it WAS a HUGE deal. I knew he'd done something BAD. The last one came home in the 2nd grade. He's had three in the last three weeks. Why today? Their text books are supposed to be in plastic ziploc bags.... (we won't go into how lame that in itself is) he apparantly didn't have one of his books in it's little bag today. What the .... (ARGH!!) is that supposed to mean!? I signed the blasted pink slip and said: You mean to tell me he's getting this for a BAGGY!?! Oh... well... no... he was talking too. Friday... apparantly two OTHER boys got into trouble... my son got in trouble too, because, in her words: "You are the leader, they follow and look up to you". Never mind the fact that HE didn't do what those kids did, he's also to blame, because... because.... he's the oldest....?? because... they "look up to him?" Why exactly? Nobody really knows. You'd think the school would start to question why 3 kids have been pulled out of that class since the beginning of the year. If I could get a home study program together in time (which I can't) we'd be #4.

Ooooh.... guess this is my vent thread for the week. Sorry 'bout that. Guess I'm a wee bit wound up. :o

Oh... I have one!! It's not a joke though... well, actually I don't know what it is... don't even know if it's true, but anyhoo....wanna hear it? I don't think I've posted it before... ??

Nominated for "Quote of the Year" is this statement made by Texas Congressman, Dick Armey. When asked: "If you had been in President Clinton's place, would you have resigned?" Armey responded: "If I had been in the President's place, I would not have gotten a chance to resign. I would've been lying in a pool of my own blood looking up and listening to Mrs. Armey saying: "How do I reload this damn thing?"

:teeth: I can relate to this right now. :teeth:

LOL!! I like Bubble Boy's jokes! :teeth: :teeth:

Gee, Elaine, I have no idea where you would go with your vouchers? :teeth:

Kimmy I am SO glad you went to the doctors. I was a little fearful of you ending up in the hospital. Im glad you didnt. I figured though that you needed more than just the Zithromax. He didnt tell you how or when to use the inhalers?? I would call him first thing in the morning if the packages dont tell you when to use them. Hopefully this will make you all better and you can get back to your normal self and normal routine. I can see how much this is getting to you on top of being sick.

Kim is that your doggie??? He is soooooooooooo cute!!!!!!!

Kim, I must say, that Minnie looks so cute :)

Glad you went to the doctor and that they helped you out some more. Be sure though that when you get those inhalers you find out what you are taking, what you can take with them and how often. Ask the Pharmasist too just in case because they can look up drug interactions that your doctor wouldn't know. That way you are sure you don't get yourself hurt by taking them wrong or with something you shouldn't. Also try to get someone to take Cam to work. You need to stay home and rest :)

Hmm... WDW with the vouchers??? Never crossed my mind :p

Three inhalers Kim??? Pm me and tell me what they are...I can help a little...but if he gave you no instructions with 3 inhalers ya need to call him in the AM. So you have NONE of them tonight?? Good grief!!!! OK here is what Nurse Jodie has to say...rest...drink LOTS of liquids (it loosens up the gunk in your lungs), and get Tom to call that Pharmacy for you in the AM...you need those meds my friend.....ya needed em a few days ago!!! Is there maybe another pharmacy in the area that your pharmacy could get the meds from....or a hospital pharmacy? I am concerned that you have none of them tonight. I'm glad you went Rosie....see...don't doubt your Ya Ya nurses!!!

Yep Karen, that's my Minnie Mouse... she's my little piece of sunshine. :)

The dr. didn't give me many instructions regarding the inhalers. The only thing he did tell me was that one of them is to be used directly after the first one. What I'm not sure of is, which of the other two is "the first one". Not sure if I'm to try them both and use which works best or use them both... If the pharmacist doesn't have answers for me, I'll call Dr. Charming back in the AM. :)

Still need to do a ketchup but first gotta go make sure Cam is on task with the homework and that all his books are in their respective baggies. Wonder what tomorrow's pink slip will be about... maaaaybe having the wrong pencil sharpened? Or maybe Aaron in row three threw a spitwad.... better give Cam a pink slip... he's "the leader".

Jodie, I only have one of them with me now... I left the two that needed to be filled at the pharmacy...my only other alternative was the Walmart pharmacy which I refuse to go to because they're notorious for losing perscriptions. The one I did get home with was a sampler... I'll go get it and let you know what it is.

I know. :( I should've listened to you guys days ago. Actually... I did... I went in, I guess she just should've given me a ten day round of Zithromax and the inhalers then. The dr. did say that ENT's are doing 10 days on the Zithromax a lot these days.

Bubble Boy...my joke tellin hero!!! Nobody can tell em like a 5 year old!!!

Hi Dave!

Kim...TEACHERS!!!! Having problems tonight here too with David's teacher!!!!! All teachers should be like our Betty!! Hang in there...and put the freakin book in the baggy!!! Good grief:rolleyes: And now being a leader is a punishable offense? LOL! I think the teachers need Spring too!!!

Karen...1-2 pounds a week is an ideal amount to be losing...you're doing Great!!!!

Elaine has vouchers??? OK...let's all brainstorm and help her decide where to go!:p

Kimmy...Minnie Mouse is just too adorable for words. She just makes you want to snuggle and give her a kissy. What a cutie.

I wish you had those inhalers tonight. It worries me you going yet another day without them.

Elaine do you happen to have a picture from the YaYa meet that has a halfway decent picture of me?? Im trying to find a headshot for Nancy of me for the pin for the yaya meet. I dont have any pictures of me that I can use. Its either too big or Im not in the picture Im taking it LOL.

What I am actually hoping to do is get Luis to go with me on one of the trips and use the voucher then for the both of us. If not I will definitely have to try to use them for myself. They do expire by the end of the year too :p

Karen, I will have to look for the picture. Currently all my WDW pics are on my other computer. I usually go into it during the weekend though to nose around. I think the only good front shot I had of you was in the group picture. I will look though... oh yeah, I have them all on CDs so I will dig those out soon!

Will this do Karen?
