Hey Pam, where did the I wanna can can but can't come from? Just wondering?

Ack....got the 50 second warning...am I posting too much?

(((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))(((((((((((((((((((BETTY))))))))))))))

Only 45 minutes....wah..........:(

Alright. I must stop this posting frenzy...doggie wants food. Be back later!!

Hi Betty! Glad ya made it aboard!! :)

LOL, Michele & Elaine!
Believe me, I thought of watching it and not telling him....and he actually wouldn't care, but I'm trying to be a sweet wife and watch it with him! :teeth:

Hi Michele. Was it you who said something about showing the Elders how to be mothy?

I feel out of the loop. I can honestly say I have not watched Joe Millionaire. So what is all the talk about?

Hello Sherry.

Hi there Betty!!! Good to see you here!!!

Sherry you can always watch it tonight and then watch it with him tomorrow... that way you can still be the good wife and watch it with him :)

Hi Elaine. How is the weather up north? Did you get a lot of snow? We got around 2 inches. No big deal but there is ice under it.

Considerable attention is paid to guests' needs.
There is a writing desk next to the window, individually-controlled air-conditioning, telephone and video monitor.
A laundry service and the descreet availabilty of your own professional butler :earseek: (is that what we're calling them? ;) ) ensure that the train's guests will want for nothing.

All accommodation aboard the train is en-suite, featuring either a private shower or bath. Guests may choose between a De Luxe or a Luxury suite.

The De Luxe suite has a choice of twin or double bed with shower or bath en-suite, while the Luxury Suite has a choice of twin or double bed with bath en-suite. Luxury suites are equipped with CD players and video machines.

I MADE IT!!! Whew!!

Lovely, isn't it?

Whew I finally made it onto the train!!!! Can someone show me to my sleeping quarters please?? Work today was not as bad as I thought it would be. Luckily he only dictated half of what is sitting there waiting.

Im late for the train because I took a little detour to exercise before signing onto the boards. Man that Richard Simmons tape is HARD!!! But I DID it. Im now sitting down to a nice dinner of Blackbeans, rice and stewed tomatos. Very filling, very low fat, low calorie, and tastes great!

DH is safely in Detroit :teeth:........but his luggage isn't :( :(

Oh no!! Supposedly they will get it to him by 9:00 tonight.
Hope so........all his clothes are in there.

The housework is done....laundry almost :)
Yippee!! I can sit back now and enjoy the train trip.

Glad ya made it Karen!

I am off to do the treadmill!

Be back later!

Nancy Im glad to hear dh is safe and sound but sorry his luggage isnt

Jodie it was me you were going to send the ground turkey recipes to.

I love using ground turkey and actually prefer it to hamburger. The only thing I use very lean ground beef for is hamburgers. Anything else that calls for hamburger I substitute ground turkey breast. You have to make sure you are buying only ground turkey breast because the other ground turkey has more fat in it. My family loves ground turkey frazzled up then sauteed with seasoned stewed tomatos served over either rice or pasta.

Nancy, glad your DH made it okay. I do hope his luggage gets there soon!!!

Good to see you here Karen!!!! Glad you're here too!

Oh and Nancy, that looks wonderful!!! My kind of a bed :)

Betty, I think we have about a foot and a half more than two inches. No ice though. We got about 5 or 6 inches last night to add to our other foot or so that was on the ground. I went walking through some of it today and it went up to me knee!!!! So we got hit this weekend pretty hard!

Michele,
Hey Pam, where did the I wanna can can but can't come from? Just wondering?

Jeannie posed awhile back about feather boas and then someone said something and Satine was talking about Moulin Rouge..... and DD is doing the can-can in her ballet recital this summer...... and I have two left feet, so........:o

I just gotta ask:

My family loves ground turkey frazzled up then sauteed with seasoned stewed tomatoes

FRAZZLED UP?????? ;)

OK--It is still snowing sideways, winds about 20mph, about a foot or more down already, and it's not stopping anytime soon.

DH was going to go out and snowblow our drive, and our elderly neighbors across the way, but DS just had an absolutel meltdown becuase he could not draw Evil Emporer Zurg on his Magna Doodle. Cabin fever setting in.

I go away for a few hours and find 7 pages on the 'at sea' thread, plus it's closed, then this thread is up to 7 pages! :earseek: Wow!!! Ya'll sure are mothy!!
I vote for Texas as the dude ranch location. Since I'm in TX, it won't take me long to get there. :teeth:

Um... should children be reading this sort of post? :p

Ok... off to fix dinner... It's pasta night & spaghetti is calling. :)

deb frazzled up means chopped up and browned like you would for making sloppy joes or something like that. Frazzled up was one of my moms sayings :D

Hee hee. I knew what you meant I think, I had just never heard it referred to as Frazzled. My mom always says scrambled.

Glad your DH made it OK, Nancy. Hope his luggage gets there soon.

Guess what? DH called and said he is on his way home from work. They ran out of parts. Sooooooooo, I get to watch Joe Millionaire!! WOOOOO HOOOOO!!!!
