Hi Laura!! Glad your back! :bounce:

LOL, Marilyn, well, they are doing their job REALLY, REALLY well. :teeth: :p

For anyone lurking, yes, she really is this crazy. We have tried sending her to counseling, to no avail. We have tried talking to her about her ummmmm....problem. Didn't help. We have tried tying her to the bed, that didn't work...she just kept telling us to send Apolo in... Her TV is so streaked with drool, she has to have the screen replaced every 3 months. Please send in your dimes and nickles so we can send her to a nice place to rest. Your donations will be greatly appreciated.

Donations?! Oh good! A resting place! Will HE be there??? :teeth:

Resting place? That didn't sound right.

Hey Laura! Glad to see the computer is fixed... what was wrong with it?

Jodie! There you are! How are the ears holding up after all that hammering and squealing? :)

Hey...where's GP?? Kim did he find your dingle balls??
Apparantly not. :( It's yet another sad day in Kim's YaYa suite. :(

Edited to say: Hmmmm.. that above paragraph didn't sound quite right either. I'd try to rephrase it but I'm too tired... can't think. Ummm... how's this: Another sad day in Kim's YaYa suite... closet??? No? Eh... never mind. Ya'll know what I mean. :o

Poor Sherry. :( What are the boys doing? :)

Hi all!!! Sorry I haven't been so chatty here tonight. I was talking to my brother on the phone. Geez... I wonder how many minutes a month I spend on the phone

I am a bit tired so I will probably head off to bed soon.

Kim, they are doing everything they can to drive me crazy.  :teeth:

Good night, Elaine.

Ya Ya's--I'm off to bed. I have no idea why this nightclub tragedy has thrown me for such a loop. It's tragic, and on a human level we should all be horrified, but I am just almost shell shocked over it. I have that horrible pit in my stomach feeling that I'm pretty sure we all had post 9/11. I just had a nice cup of herbal tea with honey, and I am just going to bed.

See everyone tomorrow.

{{{hugs}}} Deb. Good night.

I'm about to head off myself. I have to babysit tomorrow, so have to be up at 7. So much for sleeping in. :(

Oh... and I promise not to spend any "meet money" on charms.
:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

It just dawned on me that you said this a while back! Jodie! Did you put her down in the "definately coming to the meet" column?

Laura! Hi girl! Nice to have you back.:D

Good night Deb. Good night Elaine. Sweet dreams to you both.

Been a long day for me so I am going to bed too. Have a good night sistuhs and bothers. I will see you tomorrow.

Greetings Dudes and Dudettes,
Just popping in and then back out. Didn't have time to ketchup but did a very fast skim.....

Sherry,
Love your new hairdo!

Marilyn,
Don't blame me for the skunk smell!

Betty is back to teaching? Full time?

Elaine is on the phone? AGAIN?;) Kim and Nancy are spending money?? AGAIN?!;)

Carol's puter is on the fritz?

My friend's chemo treatment went well - she had no pain at all this time when they inserted the needle in her port, but she has a long road in front on her.....:(

Pam...gald your friend's treatment went well.

Betty isn't teaching. She is off scouting a college with her DS.

Me spend money? Naw!! :( Not today anyway. ;)

Carol's computer isn't on the fritz....the DIS is (for her). She has to download to read (so she can do it offline) and the DIS isn't making that possible for her right now (one of the side effects of the overhaul, I guess).

Sherry...your hair looks great! I still need enough nerve and courage (and a friend to go with wouldn't hurt) to do something with mine.

Marilyn...the blueberry muffins were great! :teeth:

DH should be home in about an hour :).......but he leaves again Wednesday.

Deb might get to go to WDW!! :teeth: Ohhh.......lucky you!

LOL...Kim, I'm looking for your dingle balls. :teeth:

Check here for.................One of Odie's favorite games is chasing his dingle-ball. Now, you can play with dingle-balls too. In the game "Connect 4 dingle-balls 3D" you can take it up against your friends or the computer

Morning! :)

Well, we got some rain last night, but I don't think its cold enough to freeze.

I'm waiting for the boy I watch to get here. DH has to go to practice, and he's helping his brother bake cheesecakes at church this morning. They have 22 to make!!

Hoping to run out to the grocery store and Walgreens some time today. Such an exciting life, huh? :teeth:

I put on my fave jeans this morning and they are really loose! WOO HOO!! :bounce: :bounce:

Nancy, just go ahead and do something fun with your hair. I was afraid when I first cut mine, but I really love it. And its so easy to style and go! You'll be glad you did! :)

CS, hope you find your DVD's. :)

Poor Carol. :( Tell her I said Hi and I miss her!

GOOD MORNING YA YA's!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, Bubble Boy woke up EXTRA early today, and has been axiously awaiting the new Power Rangers show to start so we are hanging out until he gets to see that. Then...off to Crate and Barrel to spend my gift certificates that I got from work. I finally decided to get all new flatware! I inherited my grandmothers formal silver when she passed away, and lived in her house until it was sold, so I also 'inherited' her everyday stuff. So I have literally been eating with this flatware for 30+ years. I'm sick of it. So we are getting new. 2 years ago I did the same thing with dishes. So this afternoon, I am also going to head to Rosie's Place (a woman's homeless shelter in Boston) and give them service for 12 in everyday dishes, and service for 8-10 in flatware. They help do a lot of transitional housing for homeless women, and are always looking to furnish apartments, so I figured this would help. Then when DH gets home, I am going to donate a pint of blood, or try to do platelets. This fire in RI has seriously depleted the blood supply, and this is one thing I can do to help.

Whew, I am awfully mothy this morning! :teeth:

Good morning, Deb.
What a sweet thing for you to do, giving the woman's shelter your dishes and flatware. And donating blood. :)

Enjoy spending your GC. :)

Well, my friend just called, and John isn't coming after all......so I got up early for nothing. AACCKK!!

Good morning Ya Yas!

Sherry sorry you woke up early for nothin and WOOHOOO the jeans are gettin baggy!!!!!:p

Debbie...nothing like doing for others to make you feel in control of your world again. I'm sorry the nightclub tragedy brought that 9/11 feeling back to you....I think that will happen to all of us for awhile. I hope you're better today!! {{hugs}}

Marilyn....nope, I can't put Kim on the "definate list" until I hear the words from her....but it does sound good doesn't it??:):) :)

Pam I'm glad your friends treatment went well yesterday.

I'm doing the Girl Scout thing again today ya'll so I probably won't check back in until later this afternoon. I hope everybody has awesome days!!!!

Jodie--that's EXACTLY it, I need to pull myself back in control. Today will be Debster helping others day. Plus I think it will be really good for Bubble Boy to see to. So far we have managed to sheild him from the 24/7 news blitz of both 9/11 and the fire this weekend, but he is getting older, and I can't keep him in his Bubble forever.

Anyone have any ideas why my computer clock would sporadically lose time? I keep resetting it, but every couple of months it goes wacko.

I have it on relable information that it's the battery for the clock.

Good morning all!

To answer your questions: Computer about a year old, HP Pavilion 7845 and I am running windows ME. This problem only occurs sporadically. Sometimes I will reset the clock and it's fine for a month or more, and then all of a sudden it loses time. It never freezes up on me, but does on DD, and I figured that probably had to do with some of sites she is accessing.

I am having a 'I feel like staying in where it's nice and warm today' kind of day. I might not even get out of my pajamas. We are expecting snowstorm #22 for this winter, 5-7" with another one expected to hit Wednesday that is expected to dump another foot (per DH). Another winter like this, and I'm not waiting for DD to graduate, I will be heading for Florida much sooner!

Poor Kimmy, lost without her dingleballs... :D

Deb, are you still sick, or on medication? They may not let you donate blood or platelets if so. Just want you to be prepared.

And come on woman, we've seen lots of pictures of bubble boy, now we want to see bubble mama. Pictures, Deb, we want pictures!
