We then head out to the lobby as it's getting close to our ADR. We hang over the balcony and you can smell all the meats wafting up from Boma. Hmm, must be where the Giraffes went
Not before long, our buzzer goes off and its time for our ADR. Oh, its sooo exciting. We walked down the long stair case and reach there bottom where it actually looks pretty busy. Turns out, it was only the waiting area that was really busy.
Within a couple of minutes, we were introduced to our server and we were escorted to our table. She took our drinks order, with me just having a Coke, whilst Mallinda opted for a Glowtini that seem to be quite popular. She did however end up getting idd, which Im sure made her night!
With the drinks orders taken, it was off to the buffet, which was a good thing as we were well and truly starving.
One thing that is fantastic at Boma, is the Salmon in Coconut Butter. Its amazing! Its just on a huge tray and you can go and take as much as you like. We also had some chicken in African spices. I also like the carved meat that they had. Not sure if it was beef or pork though, but was good all the same.
Mallinda is more of a savory person, with me being more of a sweet person (naturally

) So I only have a couple of runs really at the main meal food. It was very good and I would definitely recommend going back as there were multiple types of soups that looked good, but we were saving ourselves for the desserts.
Oh and what good desserts they were. The best ones, I thought anyway were the Zebra Domes, and there was another one that was like a little chocolate cup that had cinnamon mouse in it, with a white and dark chocolate straw. Never really took any photos of the food, Im afraid. Needless to say there were a few trips up to the dessert counter.
Just before leaving we were presented with a long dish that had 4 desserts on it, specifically as this was our wedding anniversary. They were very good, but we couldnt finish them as we were full. We felt pretty bad about not finishing them, but hey ho. We thanked our server, and paid. I think it cost roughly $78 including tip.
Boma is one of thos place where you leave with a big grin on your face because you know it's been a fantastic time.
We then wobbled on the way up the stairs and felt suitably stuffed. You know when someplace is a keeper, when as soon as you leave, even though your full, youd go back!
We popped into the shop in actual fact to see if I could get a t-shirt with Boma on it, but no joy. We did find another bargain though.
Disney currently have these circular sets with 6 soft plastic toys in them, kind of like bath toys. On our first day, we picked up Mollie the Pixar one. It featured, Mr. Incredible, Dash, Woody, Buzz, Sully and another that Ive just drawn a blank with. Dont think it was Mike though. Oh, just remembered. It was Nemo.
This cost us $15. Theres a variety of different sets, and we managed to pick up the classics one for about $3.99.
This set had Aladdin, Hercules, Pinnochio, Dopey, Alice and Peter Pan. So that was a pretty good deal. We were fair chuffed with ourselves till we realized it was in all the others stores as well
We then headed out to the bus stance as we were going to head over to Epcot, as it was open latest tonight. Now I understand why they do this, as there are sometimes multiple buses at the one stand, but surely there can be a more organised way of getting the bus. All too often, you get to the bus stand and youre waiting for a while. Now because its such an open space, what you actually get is people coming up last minute and walking on the bus in front of you. This happened at the Epcot stand, so all we did was hopped on a bus to MK and then got the Monorail over to Epcot. Not a huge complaint, just something I noticed.
We then arrive at Epcot which is actually quite quiet for EMH. We decide to do Spaceship Earth again as the first time we did it, it was a bit long for the Wrigglemonster, and lets just say, she lived up to her namesake.
It was a walk-on. Literally no queue. Have to say, I do prefer the Jeremy Iron's narration as opposed to Judy Dench. Dench's narration is ok, but I just prefer the old one. I feel Iron's narration was more epic and fit the attraction more.
We came out and headed over to Test Track which had a wait of about 45 minutes and all fast passes were gone. We decided to leave it and try another day (we never get on it

) and head over to Mission:Space where the wait for the fairly tame version was 5 minutes, so we went on that version. Mallinda wasn't keen on trying the more intense version.
I think when Disney say that it's a 5 minute wait, what that really means is the time it takes you to walk through the queue, because as soon as we did, we were on and away to go. I love Mission: Space. It just feels like a really interactive ride, even though everything is pre-determined.
Ellen's Energy Adventure seemed to be closed so we opted for a walk around the World Showcase. It was EMH in the park so it wasn't REALLY quiet, but was fairly quiet. The first thing we came up to was the Grand Fiesta Tour, which had no wait, so we though, what the hell, why not?
It's a nice relaxing boat ride, very much in the similar style of It's A Small World. It was actually a good ride, we had a really nice American family who were taking photos so as I was in the background decided to just muster up a smile and lean in to the photo
As we head out, we're starting to get tired but decide to do Maelstrom as Mallinda had never done it before, and it was only showing a 20 minute wait.
Well we headed in and it looked absolutely heaving, a lot more busy than 20 minutes. An American guy in front stormed out saying the line was crazy, and that he wasn't waiting.
You're lucky if it did actually even take 15 minutes to get on the ride. So we were off and away. I love Maelstrom as it's very much one of those old style attractions that remind me of when I was younger and used to go to Epcot.
We're getting more tired as the night goes on but decide to try The American Adventure. We literally stand in the lobby part, then opt to leave and head home as we're really tired.
So head back to the bus, with a day well spent I would say, and we wait...and we wait...and we wait. Buses come round on regular succession, however never stopping for Port Orleans. This goes on for maybe half an hour max. Then the man who must be responsible for the scheduling comes over and speaks to a couple of people. Next thing you know, there's a bus there. You then get an American woman who was quite a bit behind us waiting in a queue, lambasting the bus controller explaining that hey had been waiting here for about an hour...uh not in this line, missy!
Mallinda pateintly waiting for the bus. When we're here, we just go with the flow. There's enough hassle at home to worry about without getting stressed here at little things.
So head back to our room for a kip to start all over again tomorrow, because after all...tomorrow is another day.
