...our local newspaper! Good Lord they don't leave me alone. I literally get at least 3-4 calls a week. They're always offering "a special" but I tell them time and time again I'm not interested.

They're very nice but I've never had anyone call as often as they do.

Ours is the exact same way...the funny thing is that I used to be a daily subscriber and they called alot then too. After repeatedly telling them that I already GET their paper every day, they continued to call and I finally ended up cancelling the subscription and I told them why...of course, the calls continue. Thank God for caller ID.

I LOVE the do not call list. If they call again, tell them to take you off their list, they can't call you again if you request that.

We did get calls like that a while ago but we got this zapper for them...It didnt work :confused3 Then we told them to take us off the list and that worked for like a month then the calls started again. We just use cell phones now.

Everyday lately I have been getting a call that's simply a recording telling me to call this other number. I was in the shower the other day (dripping with soap mind you) and the phone rang. I had to answer it because I'd be worried sick that it was the school calling about one of the kids. Nope, it was this same recording telling me to call this other number. I just tossed the phone across the room. LOL

I've also been getting a lot lately for political contributions to the GOP. I'm telling you, these people can't take no for an answer and I end up having to hang up on them every time.

Then, I keep getting this same political survey call. It's the same survey for crying out loud. The darn thing blasted me the 1st time for not responding with a "yes or no" answer. :rotfl2:

I hate all telemarketers regardless of who they are!

One of my kids actually got a text message that was advertising. I didn't think that was legal, but they sure got one. UGGGG! :sad2:

The NRA!

These people call for DH at least once a week. He has repeatedly told them he's not interested, and they still sent him a BILL for membership!

He called them and they apologized - and the very next week - we got a past due whining letter asking why he didn't pay his dues yet.

Not only do I tell them to take me off the list but I give them the name of our attorney, that I say will sue their butts if they ever call back. Guess what? They never call back or disturb our dinner again!

There is nothing more frustrating than to have a local newspaper call your house and start the conversation with "Do you receive home delivery of our newspaper?" First of all, they have a computer with all that information in it. Wouldn't THEY be able to tell already if I have home delivery? What a ridiculous question. I tell them, "I don't know, you tell me." :teeth:
