Hi all, I a pretty avid lurker on the trip report threads, but have posted a few times.

We returned about three weeks ago from a 9 day trip at Pop Century (1 night), BWV and Polynesian, while planning the trip I had a lot of questions and love photos and the trip reports of people in the past really helped, so I thought I would return the favor. Our trip included a stay in a recently refurbed 1-bedroom standard view, with a great view of Illuminations fireworks, plus we used the basic Dining Plan, which we enjoyed. I have included reviews of both and lots of photos!

We also had A LOT of pixie dust this trip (except for Poly wasnt so great of an experience), so I hope those who read enjoy it. However, you have been warned there is a reason I called this the world's longest trip report!

I checked out your blog spot - great photos! I'm looking forward to the rest of the trip!

Thanks, my husband is the unofficial/official photographer of the two of us. He is a professional photographer so he mostly carried around this trip his Nikon D700, however the D100 series (D200, etc) are all VERY good cameras,

You can still find the D100 used for a pretty affordable amount, good camera equipment doesn't wear out fast so its usually just as good used in many cases.

We also used a Sony point and shoot.

BTW Canon is evil.

:)

I will be posting a new update hopefully tonight.

Thanks for all your kind words its appreciated!

Small world! We checked into BWV on the 23rd of Jan... AND my MIL lives in Independence, BIL in KC... love the area!

That's everyone for your kind words! ACEJK I saw your posts while we were planning our trip, I didn't post but I was thinking the same thing, small world.

:)

I have added my third update

http://jeffreyjennifer.blogspot.com/2010/02/jan-2010-trip-report-post-iii.html

This includes a VERY detailed review of the Backstage Magic tour, and I discuss a lot of the things you see on the tour, I have included a large header (SPOILERS) for those who don't want to read about what goes on behind the scenes, and how some of the attractions really work. Because no photos are allowed, and it ate up almost all of Friday for us there are very few photos from that day.

Backstage Magic though is a great tour, definitely worth the cost ($200 about), and we had a GREAT tour guide, Wayne!
