Hey everyone! I saw World of Color on July 4, and needless to say it was fantasmic! I'm driving back down to the Disneyland Resort with my parents on Christmas and we've been wondering how World of Color will affect the crowd levels, specifically in Disneyland Park, since we already got a feel of how deserted California Adventure felt minus Paradise Pier.

Any thoughts on whether or not crowds will be lower than usual (by holiday season standards) in Disneyland Park due to the three World of Color shows going on at night? For those of you who have been there frequently and recently, did the World of Color shows somehow affect crowd levels in Disneyland Park?

I'm sort of hoping that people with Park Hoppers will decide to hop on over to California Adventure to catch a show of World of Color, giving more elbow room in Disneyland Park. That would be very nice. :cool1:

Also, as a side note, I'm planning to record the exact wait times for as many rides as possible on and after Christmas Day. When I get back, I'll be sure to tell everyone the route I took and favorite parade/fireworks/show spots. :santa:

Anyone else going to the Disneyland Resort from the 24th to 26th?

I hope u are right would be nice if some people hopped away to DCA I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Do you wear a LGMH? We will be there at the same time sort of ...we arrive 25th and our first park day is your last...maybe we will bump into each other

I think WoC only makes a noticeable shift of park attendance on the slowest days. And it not that noticeable. WoC with a maxed capacity of 4K doesn't take a big dent out of DL with full attendance somewhere north of 65K.

It will be interesting to see what you note about wait times. I've wanted someone to stop by the ride wiats boards every couple hours and snap pictures on a big attendance day and the day before or after. Of course I realized I would never want to stop there to get pictures on a regular schedule.
