Congratulations Belle! Your mom's DISbuds are proud of you!
Sarah, you'll have to put up some more videos of her dancing! My daughter was watching that video with me and she said she "really, really, really" wanted to watch her do her ballet dancing.
Congrats Belle!How fabulous for you!
I jst saw the update and video ...CONGRATULATIONS BELLE!![]()
That is awesome and the video brought tears to my eyes also.![]()
Excuse me If I missed something. But what will this all mean for Belle now?? I can only imagine the doors this will open for her in the future, but what will happen now?? I am so excited for her, what an opportunity!!!!
I'll try to get something up. This sounds awful but I don't have much video of her dancing because you can't video at recitals or competitions and I just don't bother at her classes. I guess I should try to get something!![]()
I know how that is. You go to those things to watch them, not video them. Same thing happens to me with my son's baseball and bmx racing. I hardly have any video or pictures of him.![]()
Well, right now it means I save my pennies for something other then Disney!![]()
She has been accepted into the professional program which means she can basically have a career in dance anywhere in the world if she finishes the program.
She starts in the summer and will live on campus for 4 weeks. Then we have to decide what to do. There are 3 choices basically - we can move there, we can send her to live there on her own or we can decline the placement at that point.
Option number 2 really isn't an option for us - there is no way we'd let her move out at 11 years old but lots of families do this. Just doesn't feel right to us.
I don't know what we are going to do. It is such a huge honor to be accepted and I really didn't think in a million years that it would happen. Not that I don't believe in her - just that 1000s of kids from all over the world apply to be in this program and only a handful are chosen.
She'll go for the summer and then we'll see what the next step will be.
Right now we're enjoying the experience!
Wow, what a decision you will have to make!!!!Where in the states is it located at? With 3 boys, I'm not up on my dance info LOL
.
Congratulions Belle!!!! And to the parents that provided the way to all those Dance recitals and practices etc.... I know ya'll are very proud.
That is a very tough decision to make, But I know ya'll will make the right one!!!![]()
Keep us informed!!!!!!

A Short Interuption!
Big BIG news here from the kindakrazy household!
If you have read from the beginning you all know that Belle is a ballet dancer and has had a stint doing some professional work. Well last weekend she was encouraged by her ballet teacher to audition for the Royal Winnipeg Ballet which is one of the most prestigious ballet schools in North America.
Belle of course wanted to go and we prepared her with the "don't get your hopes up, you are only 10 years old" speech.
Several hundred children showed up, all with much more experience then her but she was unphased and went in and did her thing.
Came out, had lunch and we went home.
Then it happened. "THE" letter came.
Click on the link to see what happened - I let her ballet teacher tell her.

Yep, she got into the professional program!
I am so proud of my little monkey. Shocked and proud!
Congratulations honey!
Congrats Belle!
Wow!! That's is very exciting for Belle. That would be a big move to Winnipeg. (and who realy wants to live in Winnnipeg.)![]()
