Hippo is cute but I live in fear of losing her! Life as we know it would be over at my house! :rotfl:

You need a back-up hippo! Seriously! (sorry, just watched Grey's  )
When my daughter was really little she had (still has) this little pink baby doll ("pink baby") that she had to sleep with (still does) and we lived in constant fear we would lose it somewhere and she would never sleep again! So we bought another one! We affectionately dubbed it "back up baby". :thumbsup2

Ya but Hippo came from Texas and I live in Canada so.....

well.....

no back up Hippo here!

Shhhhh.....don't tell Belle but we had a "back up baby" for her dolly too when she was little.....;)

I didn't leave.... not sure why I hadn't posted.... been keeping up w/ ya.... lol

That was the day it poured on MNSSHP - but it was not cancelled - we were there! A lot of time was spent indoors out of the storm, but one parade was still held, as were the fireworks and the various dance parties and trick or treeting. It wasn't like we would have liked, but it was still fun.

Oh that is good. I thought it had been cancelled on the 14th...:goodvibes
oh! and yes, I am crazy :hyper2: the proof is on sharky's thread

Yes, it is all there....she is as crazy as crazy comes....:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I luv her anyways:hug:

Takes one to know one right

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

We might have left, but we were basically trapped by the storm up in Toontown - there was no going out in that storm, even to leave (pardon me while I put up my lighting rod, I mean umbrella :rotfl: ) Then we talked to a a management-type CM and they seemed to have a pretty good handle on things, people in charge were watching the weather radars, and they felt that they would be able to get a parade and the fireworks in. Sure enough, it did let up (and eventually stop) - it was interesting to see the efficiency of the Disney people in getting the park back to being itself - there were squeegee teams out on the streets, even squeegeeing off the trash containers. Many people did stay, and main street was totally packed by the time the parade started. All in all, it was a good time, but would be better without rain :lmao: . Considering that we were there for 9 days in the middle of the hurricane season, and this was actually our only bad day (other rains for 5 minutes or so, absolutely no big deal), we felt pretty fortunate and just made the best of it.

Now back to Sarah's TR (and BTW, I am one of those that liked your picture of the WDW sign - it was definitely different from the rest!) So how was the first real day in the park, after a decent (I am hoping) night's sleep?

Can I join in? What a fun report!!! I can't believe the horrible luck you had while getting there however. Ouch!

Was it a big deal to take your girls out of school in Sept? I ask because we're contemplating a possible Sept trip. Thanks in advance! :goodvibes

I'm glad you were able to tough out the storm. We were glad we weren't out in it that night!

Glad you like the photo. It certainly is "different"! :rotfl:

We like to say that our kids are an experiment in resessive genetics! Belle's eyes are green and Tink's are blue. HG and I both have brown!

Sorry you weren't getting the emails. :confused3

I'll get the next update up this weekend - hopefully tomorrow.

I just can't do it tonight - my heart is just too broken over the loss of Alicia's son. :sad1:
