My DSis, Marilyn (the one who will be in WDW with her family the same week as I am) is an avid scrapbooker. She has an entire room for all her scrapbooking supplies! An entire room!!

My scrapbook room is shared with DH's electronic equipment (stereo, cable box, DVD and CD player) but the rest is mine, mine, mine!!

Oh, yes, it is and always will be Dixie Landings for me, too! My DH and I had an incredible stay there -- took us like 45 minutes to get from the room to the eatery b/c we adored the walk along the canal, watched the birds and other animals, etc.

Your children are incredibly beautiful!

Isn't that the best part of Dixie, just losing yourself in the grounds. It is so beautiful there.

Um, well, actually, cough, cough ... I can't stand Winnie the Pooh...yeah, makes me just want to slap his smile off his face...I've been trying to avoid Pooh with my DD but my other DIS friends keep sending my DD Pooh things, so now she knows who he is ...

Yes, they are painted then mod podged!

I wish. I have dibs on a part of the unfinished basement but I've been asking for 5 years and it still looks the same so I am not holding my breath!

I arrive on the day my ticker says but I leave the day before. I figure if someone else is making the beds and someone else is cooking the meals then I am on holidays, right? So yes, I am down to single digits!

November is great... just hard to wait for! And I haven't always been so smart! This is only our 2nd trip... the 1st one was the week between Christmas and New Year's! I've never seen so many people in all my life! Oy, the lines! This time we get the lovely decorations AND lighter crowds!

The Stanley Cup came to my kid's school after the Hurricane's won it... one of the players lives nearby and his kids go to the same school as mine! They had all the classes take pictures with it... kinda cool! Just sharin'...

You can laminae the pom poms and googly eyes. If you are using a commercial laminator turn the speed up faster right beore the eyes go thru and turn it down right when it does the nose. It won't seal as good on fast, but if you do it slow it can melt the plastic on the eyes. I laminate thousands of kids projects every year at my kids school. If you ever need to know how to mess something up while laminating it, I'm the resident expert!!!!
BTW Marshay (ooooh I just rhymed) I love your LGMHPC. We've been decorating some of ours too and then I saw yours and I thought how cute.

It sort of worked...I had to cut out the eyes and pom pom in order to get rid of the bubble but then the material bunched up underneath so there is a big crease down the center of Mickey's face...I think I will just keep mine unlaminated and in a ziploc bag so they don't get wet.
