I was just reading the boards looking for any last minute hints/advice since we leave for our 4 day cruise on Sunday. I had the TV on and it was tuned to CNN. Anyway, a segment on a new cruise ship really caught my attention. Apparently, this is the ultimate cruise ship for the filthy rich! You actually buy a 2 or 3 BR apartment for about 6-7 million ( I think that was the correct amount....I know it was in the millions)
Some interesting facts is that the average purchaser is 50 years old, average earnings per year is $50 million, and they plan to spend 4-6 months per year cruising the world. There is apparently 250 ports of call. It has a golf driving range on the top deck and the golf balls they use are suppose to be biodegradable within 24 hours after hitting the water. Very interesting
Well.....needless to say.....I don't think I'll ever be cruising on this ship unless I win the lottery!! Back to packing now
