Today is a sad day. I look every morning at the beautiful sight of the Wonder as I approach Norfolk VA. This morning I looked and to my disappointment, she was gone.

I thought somone on the boards said she was leaving on the 16th.

Well no matter she is gone today.

May she have a safe journey back to Florida:wave:

Well, I guess I ought to shed a tear for you on this sorrowful morning. But, I'm doing a little jig for myself since that means I'm that much closer to cruising on the "new and improved" Wonder!:teeth:

I understand but I'm going to be glad to see her in the Port Canaveral cam again. I inadvertantly kept clicking on the PC web cam this week and forgetting she wasn't there. To bad she couldn't have dry dock in Baltimore!!!

Me too! Me too! I must admit I had slight apprehension that her drydock might run over schedule. YEA! Single digits now!

My neighbor is down at the Cape working toward a satellite launch and is staying at a condo in Cocoa Beach. He called his wife this evening (close to 6 PM) to tell her that he just saw a Disney ship coming in to port and waved at it for me. I couldn't figure out what itinerary had a cruise coming back to port on a Friday. The Wonder returning home?

That would be cool to see the Wonder & Magic together at Port Canaveral!
Have to tune in to the webcam tomorrow.

Just before sunset here, Port Canaveral, from the beach we saw the Wonder coming in. My dgf thought it was the Magic, but I said, "has to be the Wonder coming in from drydock." Tomorrow morning we are boarding the Magic for the 7 day eastern carib, our first cruise. We drove down to the terminal and found the Wonder at the regular docking spot. Kind of eerie really.... The only other time I was here to see a ship was the Magic's very first cruise. So I don't really know all the ins and outs but... we asked an attendent if we could park and he said "No sir, I've got emergency vehicles arriving now. " In the distance I could see what I thought was some fire department vehicle or something with lights and a police car with lights. Is that common? Anyway... thought it was odd. Took some snapshots of the Wonder.... tho. I'll post one here if I can figure out how to.. :)

I feel SO STUPID!!!!!!! I live in Newport News, Va. and didn't know the Wonder was that closeby. I would have loved to have seen her, I am all ready excited about the trip in December aboard her!!

Glad to hear that the Wonder is out of dry dock and back in Port. I've been thinking about this. We're booked on the three-day that departs 10/21--my grand prize cruise from the Who Wants to be a Millionaire-Play It! game at Disney-MGM Studios. This is perfect timing, since the first post-dry-dock cruise will be done with and everything should be ship shape for our cruise.

What is the site for the webcam in PC? I would love for my kids to see the ships. We leave in less than 4 weeks on the Wonder for our first ever cruise!

how can you tell witch one it is.. I thought that magic would be there... aren't they leaving today

There was a WIDE shot at 845am on the aboved link that showed the Wonder at cruise terminal 5 which is right across from the port side of the Magic. The Magic was not visible because of the Canival ship.

So the Wonder officially arrived back in Port Canaveral from dry dock yesterday on Oct 15...? That is the impression I have from your posts.

Does the wonder not go out again till sunday for a 4 day cruise? Or did it leave for a 3 day this morning?

thanks

Jay

The Wonder leaves tomorrow for a 4 night cruise. They are finishing up the refurbishing in Port Canaveral yesterday and today. She was at a cargo dock today while the Magic was in port. They sounded their horns at each other as the Magic left port.

She'll be all clean and fresh and WONDERful for the folks tomorrow.

Yes have a few pictures from wonder from the magic that I will post with a trip report....
