I am loving all of your options. I just ordered a bathing suit from Old Navy, I am holding my breath that it will fit.![]()
All those dresses are pretty, sometimes it's just best to order a few and see how they look on.![]()
Jenny got her Princess Invitation today and was so over joyed! She almost cried. She kept saying thank you princesses thank you!
Thank you so much...it was sooo much better than I even dreamed.
I am late but I'd love to subscribe to this!! We are heading to POFQ May 5-12 and so far I LOVE your report. I wish mine was as entertaining! Your DD is adorable. We are going with my 5 year old and my 20 month old. (Both boys- so the outifts are not nearly as cute as yours)
URG!!! So I received an email yesterday that our flight times have been changed. WHAAAA? I'm totally bummed about our outbound flight. We were departing MCO for DTW at 6:05pm, well that flight has been cancelled and now we are on the 12:10pm flight. That's too early! I want that last day to have a nice breakfast and lounge by the Volcano pool at the Poly. What should I do now? Here are the options I am considering....
Option 1:
Suck it up and come home on the 12:10pm flight
Option 2:
Cancel the flight and get my money back for that leg of the flight and book on Air-Tran for $376.60 - $134.50* = $242.10
*(I only paid $9/person for that leg so with that, taxes/fees, baggage & seats, that only $134.50)
Option 3:
Cancel the flight and book on SWA for $357.60 - $134.50* = $223.10
Option 4:
Change the return flight to the next day (17th) at no charge and stay an extra night at the Poly $467
Mike says, let's wait and see if they change the flights again, but I hate the not knowing part. Yikes!![]()

I say extra night at the poly. We are doing noon flights, but with the time change and 3 hour drive home from the airport. It puts us in the driveway around 7 or 8. Any later wouldn't work well for us. Our original flight was at 8 am...way too early. Ugh! I can't wait to make the 70 day mark...its coming. I am going to Mankato in a couple weekends to do some power shopping for myself. I have no summer clothes since my pregnancy that fit. Ugh! I should just try and get pregnant again and stop trying to lose the weight???
Well I'm gonna be honest. I am definitely not suggesting option 1! I know what you mean..I didn't want an earlier flight because I wanted time to take a little more in before leaving. Heck with a noon flight you have to be on DME by 9am!
I think, to save money you should book with another carrier. I think if you stay at the Poly one more night you will still have the issue of maybe leaving earlier in the day. No matter which day ends up being your last, you still always kinda want to hang out for a bit.
I say book another flight home with SWA. I checked out the flight you would have that day and its not too bad. The layover in Chicago seems just long enough.
Of course you could always stay until the 18th!![]()
Oh, the plane debate is tricky. I am like you, I would not want to wait around and see what happens, I would probably want it all figured out right away. I changed my flight coming home already too, to make the last day a fuller day. we leave mco at 8:45pm. So I would either cancel and book a later flight or if you can, staying an extra night sounds SUPER!!!
Balancing the flights is so hard!! Just when you get it worked out, everything changes. I would want to leave later on and not at noon time. Good Luck!![]()
This is my choice! What the heck...an extra night wouldn't hurt!![]()
Is an extra night at the Poly in the budget? If so, that would be my choice. But if the money will stress you out, I would try to book a later flight on that same day. Our flight out of MCO is at 4:30 and that seems early to me!At noon you would miss out on a whole day...
