The Willy's head to Walt's World..again!!! 5/18: TR Started!!

Maybe we'll just stay the whole month!!:rotfl:

I am so not the person to talk to if you need to be convinced to NOT stay the whole month :lmao: :lmao:

Every time we fly out, we always end up with a 7am flight...and Rylan does well since he falls asleep on the plane. Hopefully we don't have too many issues!

I think I have come up with another flight option!!

Option 5:
Change flight to the 17th (no charge) and stay the night at the airport.

I'm partial to this option because we can have an extra full day at Disney and take a late DME bus to MCO and stay at the Hyatt right inside the airport. We can sleep in, check out and catch our flight.

Now I need to find a Hyatt discount code!!

I really need to go to bed and stop stressing about this flight thing!!

However, I was checking Mike's Priority Club Rewards (Holiday Inn etc) and he has enough points for us to stay one night at the Crowne Plaza at MCO. It's not right at the airport, but it's close enough (like 1 mile). Now, how do I get from the Poly to the Crowne Plaza? DME to MCO then Crowne Plaza shuttle to the hotel?? Town car/taxi from Poly to Crowne Plaza?? Walk, run, skip??!! LOL

I think this may be our best option! We get an extra day at Disney at no cost to us! Gotta love that!!! I'll have to run this by Mike in the morning!! He's already rolling his eyes at me whenever I mention anything Disney related!! Party Pooper!!

That sounds like it would be a good option. I would think the hotel would have a shuttle you could use. :thumbsup2

I think you should fly out on the 18th so that you can come to the EPCOT Dis meet at 3pm on the 17th...:goodvibes

In reality...I like your newest plan. I would shoot for that.:thumbsup2

I just shipped Emily, Tyson and Rylan's gifts today. Hopefully they should arrive around Tuesday. Jenny was so proud of them!

Yay!! She'll be sooo excited to get some mail!! That is so sweet of Jenny (and you of course!) I love that I've met such wonderful people here on the DIS! I can't wait until AK when we can finally meet in person!!

Final decision!!!

I talked to Mike about staying near the airport on the last night and flying out the next day and he's excited we get more Disney time at no cost!!

Old plans for 5/16:
Pack, check-out and take bags to luggage services
bfast at Ohana's @ 10:30am
hang by the pool
Catch DME around 3pm

New plans for 5/16:
Pack, check-out and take bags to luggage services
bfast at Ohana's 10am
hang by the pool
MK or DHS?
dinner @ I can't decide!!
DME to MCO
hotel shuttle to Crowne Plaza

I agree with Leanne, but since you already made the plan, I will say YAY another day!! Hope it all goes smoothly!!

An extra day sounds great!!!!!! :cool1:

Alsi it will be nice to fly home after a good sleep - the little one might not be so tired that way.

Like I told Kara, maybe we should stay the rest of the month!!:rotfl:

Ok my fave shopper...Have you seen any girls spring coats? I have been looking with no luck! :confused3

I saw a couple at babyGap last week, but I didn't really look at them. I bought Emily a couple of spring jackets for this year on clearance last year!!

Your new plan sounds great!! I have a soft spot for the Crowne Plaza since that's the hotel I "lived" at for several months this year after the fire in our university dorm. They were wonderful to us.:lovestruc

I love that you get to stay for an extra day practically for free!:cool1:

Well even with an hour drive...we have little to pick from. So we ended up with Carters coats from Target for both of them. Kohls had nothing! Jenny actually had to get a 7/8. Crazy...she only wears a 5 right now, but the 6 seemed like it wouldn't last until fall. Thanks goodness they have them. We may see 40 by the end of next week. A heat wave:beach:

Well, I called Spirit today to switch our flight to Sunday and guess what, it's all sold out unless I wanted to pay $600+ to upgrade to 1st class...uh, NO!!:headache:

So, I cancelled the return flight and got a refund, which was only $134.50! Anyway, we booked a return flight on NWA for $346 total. At least it's all said and done now. I've been stressing for days!!!

I also booked our night at the Crowne Plaza with Mike's reward points! Yippie!!!

Man, you've had nothing but trouble with your flights. I'm glad that it's all done and taken care of. The crowne plaza is nice and free!! Yippee! I love anything that's free!

Tonight we went to Disney on Ice: Worlds of Fantasy!!! It was a great show and just the Disney fix I needed to hold us over until May!! It's sort of an itsy bitsy trip report because we had to drive 45 minutes to the Palace of Auburn Hills (that's where the Detroit Pistons play)

We started off the night at the Rainforest Cafe! I'm sooo glad we made a reservation because when we got there for our 6:00 ressie, the wait without one was 3 1/2 hours!!

Here are a couple of shots of the restaurant (I was going to get more after we ate, but it took too long to get our food and eat that I didn't have time)

I had the Bamba's Barbecue Wrap - Shredded chicken wrap with Smokin' Mojo BBQ sauce, fresh cilantro, onions and four-cheese blend. Served with sweet mango sauce and cole slaw. Sooper Dooper YUMMY, I love cilantro! I could only eat half the wrap, it was filling!

Mike had the half rack Mojo Bones - Slow-roasted pork ribs, basted with Smokin' Mojo BBQ Sauce, served with cole slaw and Safari fries and a side of Safari Shrimp Skewers - A scrumptious offering of coconut shrmip skewers. He said his dinner was very good, it's hard to find good restaurant ribs!

Emily ate the Jurassic Chicken Tidbits - dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets and corn nibblets. She was making them roar then biting their heads off!:cutie:

Sorry about the food being half eaten! I forgot I was going to take pics. I'll be better at Disney!!

Next up...Disney on Ice

On to the show!!

We arrived with about 5 minutes to spare before the show started!! We were seated in the 7th row right at the end of the stage. Perfect seats! Emily was sooo excited, she kept saying on the ride there, "I can't wait to see Disney on Ice! I just can't wait!"

Here is Mike and Emily waiting for the show to start:
