Your kids are sure to enjoy this wonderful free activity at the Wilderness Lodge. This program is open to all guests of Walt Disney World, not just to those staying at the resort. Refreshment stand and restrooms available. The movie starts at 8:45pm. These movies are projected on to a large permanent screen on the beach near the marina and bike rentals. Disney has changed their policy, the schedule can change weekly, so check back before you leave.

Since we are on the subject of room views/requests.... We are staying at the villas at the end of the month in a 1 bedroom. Although I have stayed once in the main hotel I have never stayed in a Villa... Can you make room requests with them? and if you can... which is the best one to make? Are there water views from any of the villas or is it all woods?

We'll be staying there at the same time!!

I was wondering this too as this will be our first VWL stay as well. We will also be in a one brdm but MS said there really wasnt much to request with this type of room. I was confused but since I have never stayed there I really didnt know what else to say or ask.

I have also been hearing about the villas pool but havent seen a pic of it only the main pool.

I asked this on a separate thread but it sounds like there really aren't very different views. Of course, I'm still wondering if every 1bdr has a balcony/patio or not. If only some of them do, that will be my request!

Yes I did note the graduation on my reservations. It's just an associates degree in liberal arts, but it's a huge accomplishment for me, I was never a good student in high school, so to be getting some sort of degree tomorrow is huge for my family and I.

Yes I am, I bought one in 2006 when I graduated high school and plan to buy one this time too, just hope I can find them.

Awww..thanks! Final went well, took me a whole 15 minutes to complete, lol. Tonight is graduation! Now lets hope I don't trip on stage and make a fool out of myself in front of 5,000+ people.

Great job! I tripped at my nursing school graduation, with a lit candle in my hand My Dh was nice enough to tape it too. Threw that in there not to make you nervous, just to make you smile Enjoy the ceremony

Oh my! That's not good. Fortunately, DH doesn't know how to run the video camera on our camera(we have the canon T1i), lol. I have a feeling today is going to drag on forever and ever.

I called reservations today and made a room request (for our 1BDR villa). The agent said that all 1 BDR villas have a balcony or patio. I did ask for a 'lake view' (someone mentioned that I should) but he said there were only 'woods' or 'courtyard' views. Since I wasn't sure which was the non-dumpster view, I didn't request any view. I also heard there aren't really any significant views at the villas so that was not a big deal. Since all of the 1 BDR villas come with a patio/balcony, I didn't add it to our reqeust so the only request I made was 'near an elevator' (some folks suggested I do this.) Hopefully everything works out great and I can't wait to go - just a bit over 3 weeks to go!!!

Have fun! We arrive at the villas this Sunday, but are staying one night in the honeymoon suite Saturday night!
