We want to hit EMH at MK on 8/3 (8AM). I REALLY want to be able to take the boat. The boat only runs 1/2 hour before the park opens, so it won't get me there in time to see rope drop ceremony.

I heard there was a "early breakfast boat" to contemporary. Could I take that boat and then walk to MK to get there earlier??

Well, I went ahead and just did it! Got us booked at the WL CL for the weekend and week after Thanksgiving !

NOTHING comes close to the WL during the Holidays!
Nothing!

Can't wait to book the sleigh ride, CP at Epcot, need to get our MVMCP tixs...

That's when we are going---have a courtyard view booked.

I agree-- it can only be WL for the holidays!!!!

This is what we do. It starts running at 6:45 am and if you hit the first boat across you can be there by 7:10/7:15ish. It makes it really easy. We are leaving in a little over a month. I am so excited.

Don't forget that's the boat with the blue flag, because the one with the green flag is for going to the Magic Kingdom.

Our first stay at WL will be this August, we cannot wait. I am so excited about the boat ride to MK. It just seems like it will be the perfect start to a perfect day!

Ok, we've agreed on taking the boat and avoiding bus at all costs (we have our car for DD, DHS, and AK) BUT... DH and I just looked at the map of the "Contemporary to MK" walking path... WOW, it looks really long, if you take into account the size of the cars. Am I just looking at this wrong, or are we going to be exhausted by the time we get to the gate, AND miss the rope drop?

Maybe we should just take the MK boat at 7:30 and hope for the best??

September 25th will be a 1st for DH and myself, 1st stay at a deluxe resort and 1st time at Wilderness Lodge! It is our anniversary We have a wood view reserved. Should we change to a better view and what would that be? Thanks for your help.

In just 24 hours I will be entering the WL for the very first time. I am so excited!! But, first I have to fly across country with 2 boys who are equally excited.
