The "why do we keep trying to cram all this stuff into one trip?" report!

Hi, I followed over from your PTR.:goodvibes Great update so far. That sucks about the delay on your flying day.:headache: You don't look like an idiot on the bridge, you look like someone who's there to have fun.:thumbsup2

Thanks for reading. I was having so much fun that I couldn't think of any other pose besides "thumbs up" :rotfl:

Really enjoying your report. Can't wait to hear about your F&WF adventures!
.

Glad you're enjoying it!

I'm on board and can't wait to read more.

Thanks for stoppin by :goodvibes

Subbing to read later.

I hope you enjoy the TR :)

I finally made it over from your PTR and caught up!

Sorry for the delay getting there! How stinky!! I would have been soooo upset!

It looks like you were having a great time at AK and Epcot! Can't wait to read more!

:woohoo: I'm here...lurking and waiting~ :surfweb:

Thanks for reading! The delay was pretty bad but we sucked it up. The disney magic helped to make everything better

Anna: sorry we missed you in the World. It looks like you and your mom had a fabulous time!!!!

I'm sorry we missed you too. I hope you guys had an awesome time. I want to see your TR!

Bummer about the delayed flights especially since you were up so early. Great report so far.

Yeah, I think next time we'll drive up to LAX to get a direct flight. It's weird that San Diego doesn't offer direct flights to Florida. But i'll probably end up moving there and then I won't have to fly there again!

Thanks for reading! :goodvibes

Alright, so after spaceship earth I thought we should head over to Mission: Space since mom had never been on before
IMG_0313.jpg

This is one of my favorite rides!

My mom loves space stuff. Like a lot. She's in love with Gary Sinese so she got all excited when he prepped us for the mission :rotfl: She has all these NASA DVD's and what not. Anyways, she loved the ride. It's really hard to explain the feeling to someone who's never been on it; even though I had already been on it I couldn't help but scream and laugh when we "took off". My mom and I laughed and hooted the whole time while these two little kids next to us acted like it was no big deal :lmao:

Then we decided to head off to the world showcase and see the F&W festival. There were some bigger crowds around the world showcase but nothing we couldn't handle. I actually liked seeing all the people enjoy themselves; a lot of them were Brits too.

Here's some shots from across the lake

Then we headed over to the Mexico pavilion. We were passing some booths that smelled REALLY good. I hope next year i'll be able to spend a lot more time trying the food. We didn't really get to eat that much cause we wanted to be hungry for dinner

IMG_0321.jpg

I'm ashamed to say that I didn't even know you could go in here. We'd never slowed down enough to check things out so we headed inside. These were so cool! I want to get one to bring back with me next time.
IMG_0322.jpg

It's was really dark in there
IMG_0323.jpg

The thing that I love about Epcot is all the merchandise and people are so authentic. When I was younger we would take a family vacation to Mexico every year and all the merchandise, the pottery and decorations, were bringing back memories. I was grinning the whole time :) Then we thought we'd try the boat ride
IMG_0324.jpg

It was so cute! We checked out the crystal shop and watched the guy making a goofy figurine; what a cool job. Then it was off to other pavilions.

IMG_0325.jpg

While the Japan pavilion is my favorite, because I can speak Japanese with the workers there, I'd have to say that I think the Chinese pavilion is the most beautiful. Next time we go i'd like to hear the musicians and see the acrobats again. I thought they were awesome when I was a kid

The store is so cool! There was so much jade (my favorite). I'd like to get some jewelry when I go back. Then we wandered along past really yummy smelling booths and happy people :)

IMG_0335.jpg

The weather was starting to clear up but it was still a little humid so we decided to get some water and a cannoli at an Italian booth. And let me just say that the guy serving us was incredibly gorgeous and I think I might have been staring just a little :rotfl:

We sat on a bench and shared this little baby
IMG_0337.jpg

It was very delicious. My grandpa is Sicilian and has made me picky about my cannolis but this one was good. It was a nice break.

We wandered around the Italy pavilion, there was a little comedy show going on that my mom got a kick out of.

I got really excited as we approached the Japan pavilion. Next time i'd like to eat at Teppon Edo and try Tokyo dining too.

IMG_0342.jpg

Even though it was friday Miyumi, the candy lady, was making some really cool candy. We watched her make a dragon. Then we wandered through the Japanese store and I got some Japanese candy to snack on. I should have taken pictures but I forgot! I got some "Panda's" which are little graham panda's with chocolate inside and I got "hi-chews" which are really chewy, fruity candy. I ate them by the pound in Japan, they're quite addicting :rotfl:

We came out and there were the Taiko drummers!
IMG_0343.jpg

We wandered around some more

IMG_0345.jpg

Then we got something to drink and sat down to take a break right by the France pavilion. I was excited to be eating at Bistro De Paris soon!

I took this from across the lake
IMG_0346.jpg

We had stopped into the German candy shop because my mom loves German chocolate. She got some marzipans that were really tasty

I kept seeing bikes around the parks. I'd like to see them all someday :)

IMG_0357.jpg

We wandered over to the UK pavilion but we were both tired so I thought we should go see if we could be seated at Bistro De Paris early. I knew the dinner would take a little while and I wanted to get to bed early. Luckily, they were able to seat us.
IMG_0359.jpg

IMG_0360.jpg

We climbed these cool stairs to the dining room
IMG_0358.jpg

IMG_0361.jpg

We could see out over everyone
IMG_0362.jpg

The people next to us were nice enough to take a picture of us
IMG_0363.jpg

I took this picture because it kind of looked like a mickey head. I know, i'm weird :rotfl:
IMG_0365.jpg

First came the bread, which was tasty, and then butternut squash soup.
IMG_0366.jpg

This soup was to die for. Seriously, it was so buttery and delicious I couldn't even believe it. Even my mom who doesn't like squash really liked it.

I ordered the lamb with olive risotto
IMG_0370.jpg

The lamb was really tasty. Very tender and flavorful. The risotto was very good too, although it needed a little salt. That was a quick fix and everything was perfect.

Mom had the pork wrapped with bacon with herbs inside. There was some penne too.
IMG_0371.jpg

She liked it but the flavor was very strong. I think it might have been too much for her. But we both enjoyed the meals very much.

After dinner I had a tasty cappucino.
IMG_0372.jpg

It was dark outside now but we thought we would walk around a bit more. We also had a fastpass for Test track and neither of us had been to the Seas with Nemo and Friends.

Those pics of France were beautiful! My fav of all of the Pavilions, probably because of it's proximity to the Grey Goose Slush booth.

I saw that! And they had Grand Marnier slushes too. I swear, when I turn 21 that's where i'm headed!

You take absolutely beautiful pictures! I'm looking forward to reading more and seeing more of your pics.

I could do with one of the Grey Goose slushes and the chocolate cream brulee in France right about now. . .I'll settle for a cup of millk and a piece of Ghiradelli chocolate from MNSSHP.
