Hi There~
I am hoping all of you with your great creative ideas may share some with me. We have a vacation planned at the end of June for the whole family. We are doing a 5 day cruise, followed by 5 days at WDW. My sister-in-law and I thought it would be fun to make up some gift bags for each member of the family and fill them will some goodies to start off the trip. She made up some pins with a cruise ship on them and the family name, we were also thinking of adding a leigh and a can koozie (sp?), with our family name as well. There will be 16 of us ranging in ages from 3-70. Does anyone have any suggestions of some fun, unique ideas to add to our goodie bags? I would appreciate any thoughts you may have. We are so excited, this will be the 1st time our whole family has vacationed together!!!!

It's so nice that your family wants to travel together AND is excited about it!
:) Depends on your budget, but you can add a disposable camera for fun family photos, gum, mints, a candy treat (if you really want to get fancy, you can make up computer labels for the candy wrapper with your family vacation name, dates, etc.), a bottled water with the label as the same concept of the candy wrapper, a Disney pen for autographs or whatever (Walmart has adorable pens with Disney character toppers, they are usually by the checkout registers),
I'm sure others can think of some good ones too!
HAVE FUN! It sounds like an incredible experience!

How about beach balls (not blown up of course!) or those squishy balls for the water for the kids? You could even write on the beach balls "______Family Vacation, Summer 2008, etc." so when your family members blow up the balls they get a surprise...and they won't lose them on the beach, lol! Mini water guns or other water toys? Maybe a few Disney Dollars for fun, or mini fans ( I think we have those at our Dollar store). It's nice on the beach, but if it gets hot those will be nice to have! Cheap visors or hats for the kids to decorate together? Disney mints or candies? Fun sunglasses for the kids? A little "first-aid kit" of Band-Aids, aspirin, Purell, etc? A hidden Mickey list for the ship?

Have you checked out the Wedding board? LOL probably not, but many brides put together Welcome Bags for the guests who come down to Disney for their weddings. They have all sorts of fun and really creative ideas! I have seen some awesome things! Check it out if you have the chance!

Hope that helps a bit! :goodvibes Have fun!!! :woohoo:
