That's kinda how it is at my school. We decorate out hall for competition, but the winner gets a prize. I know ours is rigged, too. My hallway won 2nd place though, right behind the seniors. We had a fairytale theme. I love just looking at everything in the hallways.

I never learned who won the Hallway competition at my school. Along with that, we have skits, we get points for how many people dress for a theme a certain day, different after school activities for points, attending events after school for points, etc. It is pretty crazy, but wicked fun.

We had to decorate after school everyday the week of homecoming. We didn't have many people in our grade stay to help until the last night, so I ends up staying at school until 10:30. It was pretty stressful, but fun.

my room has been wallpapered and painted!
the carpet is going down tomorrow, the bed is being assembled and everything will be back to the norm by friday. hopefully. then the tv is gonna go in, and i'ma hang my red sox posters up. including a giant one of jacoby. yesssss.

Homecoming at my school is like nothing compared to what we do for our spirit week (which is called Fang Fest, in case I say that). There is a dance and some little extra things going on, but nothing compared to Fang Fest.

Our spirit week consists of theme days for each day of the week. This year it was

Book Character Day
School Colors Day
Twin Day
Age Yourself Day
Rockstar Day

It was kinda cool this year. It has been lame before.

Our school can not sponsor a dance, so we don't do Homecoming dances. We have our basketball games then we present the Homecoming court. There is usually a reception for alumni afterwards.

Wow! It sounds like your school goes all out! We have an all day pep rally the day of the Homecoming game with a bunch of games in it. We dress up, but as far as I know, nothing happens if you do/don't dress up. Our school doesn't have much school spirit, unfortunately.

This new girl he is with apparently likes him a lot and accepted a engagement ring after dating for 2 months. I wish him the best, but please, patience!
