Happy Birthday to Kathy and Katie!

Oh my stars in heaven! There is a vehicle in the parking lot that has had it's alarm go off every day this week except Monday and it goes on for a long time. Tuesday it did it, was turned off and it started back up again later in the day. It happens tomorrow and I am calling the police!

WFD tonight: if the sunny weather holds I am either grilling turkey burgers or shrimp. If it's not sunny, maybe omelets.

Oops...I put these up on Webshots the other day and forgot to post them. I think we decided to go with Anabelle for the name. The girl who was watching her started using it and I like it and it fits her.



If you click on the picture it will take you to the album...there are 5 photos in it so far and one of them has an electrical outlet in the photo....so you can see how small she is.

She's adorable! And you are right, Anabelle does fit her!

Update on last night....took meds around the clock & it really helped. My fever didn't go over 100.8 so that was a step in the right direction. I have to continue on this routine for a bit.

I don't know who you were responding to but you are 100% right...we are friends & many of us have become such family.... I know I can only speak for myself but I "need" to check in to make sure all the girls are ok. I come here to share joy & pain.

I invited my ILs to dinner tonight because we weren't sure if it was going to be Greg's last night home. It isn't, but I said they were still welcome. I'm making grilled swordfish with a mango salsa, pineapple fried rice and sauteed bok choy.

Hey...

Quick fly by coz Im heading to bed...head ache !!

As Maria has said I will try and get Cali Grill booked on Sunday.

As for numbers I want to check some thing with youse first.

I know there are DH's attending but Im the only one with a wee one.

The Boy is very well house trained and pretty good company for an 8 years old but if its not a night for wee ones that is not a problem.

I dont even know if Cali Grill is ok for kids.

Please be truthful with me as i want youse all to enjoy your night.

Love to all...I need to go straigthen before Tom gets home...gotta make it look like I did something today besides dr, gym and pool.

Funny thing...the dr was in the grocery after the appt. We talked food and I bought some things he recommended.

I hope that you can rent your parent's home, that would ease up the responsibility of two homes to care for.

Becky- I watch Top Chef Masters and John Besh baked (tried to) an egg and it was a hot mess! All I kept thinking was that Becky's baked eggs are a thing of beauty


And now my friend Gretchen................oh my gosh! Do not "Debbie Downer" us......we are friends and we are not close by enough to you to help you but we sure can be here to listen to how your dad is doing. Every one of us has come here for support. Please don't stay away or only post when you make dinner, we may not be there but we sure are here for you when you are up to talking . Your family is always in my prayers

Dinner is leftover ham and veggies. I also have a huge salad left that we need to eat.

Dinner last night was really nice. Chris is a quiet man but lately he is more talkative. Buddy draws him out and he will share what he can about his "birds". and where he can go from this position. Gail and I did get teased a little because we manage to confuse what the kids do. Apparently Debbie was embarrassed when we told everyone she was going to China for the Olympics....Gail got Kinosha Wisconsin mixed up with Bejing. Hey...it could happen to anyone at least that is my story and I'm sticking to it

Great news, our T is doing so well!!!!!!!

You know I'd be all over that bluezoo on the 16th if I were there. Brenda's got a pretty good size group going that night too!!!

Kathy -- I'm glad you are finally feeling better.

Lauren -- Thomas is growing so fast. I'm glad all is well!

Vickie -- CG is Liam and Caili's favorite restaurant in Disney. They are discriminating diners. We usually buy them each one of the Disney activity packs, and between that and eating, they are good for three hours.

My dinner tonight was a big hit. I really liked the mango avocado salsa with the swordfish. I can post the recipe, if anyone is interested.
