Hi, I am here. I just got in from my parents. They had Luke during my appointment and then wanted to feed me after.

I am 4 cm. and everything else was status quo. If nothing happens by 6/30 I will be induced. Dr. doesn't think I will make it to my next appointment which is Friday afternoon.

Not feeling great after my exam, crampy. I am going to try to laydown with DS. Catch up with you all later, thanks for checking on me throughout the day! Hugs

Vickie, Mom drinks the cheap kind of scotch...probably where I got it from...I drink anything! God forbid if you give her too many ice cubes. Only 2 per scotch and water!

Finally checking in after our busy weekend. This morning I had a dentist appt.

I'm glad to hear that Maria & Becky are enjoying their vacations!

Ann, I'm glad everything is progressing well. I'm sure you must be feeling wiped out & the 30th must seem very far away. Just hang in there, your baby girl will be here in her own time.

Nancy, I'm so glad you & Buddy had a fun trip! It really sounds great & I'm extra happy for you that Buddy's wallet didn't snap shut at every meal!

KingCrab, Welcome home! I'm going to go check your thread, I'm happy that your family had a good trip. My DH Bob was scanning our food porn last week & said I was to give you a big !! He was thrilled to see you representing the male side of cooking and just drooling over your grilled/smoked/barbecued yummies!

I'm have to figure out something to cook for dinner! I've had enough dining out this weekend.

The Bridal Tea Saturday afternoon was very very nice. It was held in the Salon at Windsor Court, which is just so pretty. It was a "high tea" with the extra sandwiches & canapes, scones with toppings, finished with wonderful sweets & chocolates.

Alexis' music recital Saturday night was good (and short) which was nice. She did fine & just loves being up on stage!

We headed to church & then out to dinner with DD, Alexis, Chris & Rickie. Josh went to visit his Dad. We had a great meal at a Hibachi place but it was so freaking hot! The van therm. said 101 as we headed there! Then inside with all the hibachi tables, we were actually sweating while the chef did his thing.

The dancing recital was last night & she did very well with that also. Chris was pretty wiped out because it was held in the new Mahalia Jackson theater. So she had lots of backstage running up & down stairs, etc. Alexis enjoyed it It started ended on time, both the music & costumes were good and appropriate! So that made me happy.

Vickie -- I have a bag that I am putting together as well, and like you, most of my clothes would not even be suitable for charity. I keep putting them in there though because one consignment shop said that even the clothes that aren't in good enough condition for resale get sold in bulk to a place that recycles the material.

My son school does a clothing drive every year and they do the same thing they take anything,It all gets put to use.

Hi, everyone! Things are almost back to normal here in Quarantine-land! Jacob is still sick. No fever, but he's been throwing up almost non-stop this morning. They said the tamiflu would make us feel sick, but this is ridiculous! I just feel so very bad for him! He is so weak, and his tummy hurts so badly! Alan is on the phone with the pharmacist to see if there's something we can do for him. It hasn't affected any of the rest of us this way.

Not sure what we'll do for dinner. We grilled the last of the chicken yesterday, so we're kind of scraping the bottom of the freezer! I may make a tuna casserole. That would be nice and comforting. We'll see!

When my mom had gone well into her 10th month of pregnancy, the doctor decided to induce, stating that no woman should have to be pregnant for 11 months! Ya think???????

Try the Redneck Sangria as Kathy named it...red wine and diet lemon lime soda! Yummy! That is what I did yesterday but added some brandy and triple sec.
