Vickie-I'm glad your boy is better. I just wanted to let you know I had a very dear friend that sounded a lot like that little girl. He was one of my best friends and introduced me to my husband. Everything he did, he did on his own. I know it bothered him, he was in the hospital when he was about 21 and his mom came to visit- that was the first time he knew she cared. He has grown into a very strong, independent person and I couldn't be more proud of the man he has become. We lived in different states, but he came to my house for my highschool graduation party. He also graduated that year and my parents had his name added to the cake. I'll never forget his face, he had never had a cake with his name on it. (Hope you do that in Scotland, or that won't make any sense!) I'm sorry that little girl is missing out on her childhood, but one day she'll be a strong young lady.
Thank youse for sharing about your friend,he is truly inspiring.
Given her shocking home life this little girl is a true wee gem.
She is sweet,kind and caring.
She is one of my nephews best friends and he's 9 and doesnt do girls !!
She also does very well in school with no help at all from home.
I hope she can keep her shining light and make a wonderful adult life for herself.
Please send good vibes ower the water for the wee scone.
I'm sorry I've missed more of you, but I'm kind of out of it right now. The news wasn't very good. Not horrible, just not good.
Im so sorry it was not all good news.
Be proud your dad want to fight and be sure there is love comin ower the water to you and yours !!

I don't know if I have ever mentioned it, but butterfly is one of the few words Hailey has spoken. She has carried the card around and has it wrinkled and creased. In other words, like the postcards from Disney that Lauren and Wendie sent her, she has loved it well.
WOW...I love happy tears.
You have made my heart skip to think of your wee one so happy.
Glad to see you back. I've been meaning to tell you - I tried one of those Mickey bars on my trip last month. Fab-u-lous. At least I thought so. Kenny said it was too much chocolate.

Have you heard of such a thing?!?
I had to share this.....On our last trip we went to Mickeys Back yard BBQ.
The sweet was Mickey bars and they were in a big freezer so it was help your self.
And boy did the guy sittin next to us help himself,he had
5!!
One after another.
So yes there is such a thing as too much chocolate !!
Baby update from Dr. today. All is well. I am 1cm dialated and 50% efaced.

Happy to hear I am making some progress, but like Dr. said that could mean a baby tonight or in two weeks from now it depends on the person. Emma's heartbeat was 143. My BP was 110/64, and I did not gain any weight.
.
Im sooooo excited to meet your wee one.
Can I guess Sunday ?
I'm nervous because I have nothing done. Greg is getting excited, the other night on the travel channel & he saw how the QM2 was built & that's what did it for him...typical boy

We sail from NYC into Southhampton England directly & then a 2 hour car trip to London. We'll be in London for 4 nights.
Your trip sounds wonderful.I cant wait to see your photo's.
What are your plans for London ?
Interesting dream. I usually dream about trying to find a bathroom which means I have to really go and my mind is trying to wake me up.
.
So......your saying I really might just be a super spy...cool !!

My question: how many days would you devote to seeing these spots? If I did 4 days in each, and planned to rent a car at least in Dublin and Edinburgh to drive around, is that enough time to get a feel for it? Also, what time of year is prime to visit?
First off what a wonderful idea and surpise for DH.
Yes I think 4 days in all 3 cities would be enough.
I have been to London for a week end and we got round all the main sights.
London centre is not as big as you might think and with the tube you can get to most anywhere pretty easy and quickly.
I have never been to Dublin but most people go for weekend trips so I think that is a fine time scale there too.
If you are only planning on staying in the city centre then a car is not a necessity because Dublin has a tram system which runs right through the main city areas.
Now ma bit....Edinburgh !!
Same as above no car needed and strongly advise against if only staying in the city.
Edinburgh sights are all very much in the centre of town and most are in walking distance of each other. The bus system is quite good but by the time you are planning there will be a tram service up and running all over the city centre.
Now if anyone asks me when to visit Edinburgh I would
always say at festival time.
In August Edinburgh has a International arts festival and it it brilliant.
People come from all over the world to perform and watch, the place is very busy and just alive with fun.
Street performers ,full blown stage shows and some kinda funky stuff too.
It is my favourite time here.
Im rubbish at explaining things so i will find a link to this years and you can have a look.
Hope this helps a wee bit and any more Q's just ask away !!!
Have a good day Lassies BBL x
