The What's for Dinner Thread- June 2012 (recipe index in OP)

Costco Chicken, frozen veggies nuked and instant potatoes. I have no faucet in the #1 kitchen. I was leaking and Darcy noticed so we had the plumber come out. He was a putz, and couldn't properly install the new faucet we bought. The other one was only a year old. Now I have no faucet in my main kitchen. Anything that needs to be washed I have have to take to #2 apartment to wash it. Thank god we put in the door last year!

I hope you've stopped leaking now.

I had a moment at dinner that I can't stop laughing about...

Back story: I am a completely insane germ freak. I carry hand sanitizer with me at all times, in every pocket. I make my kids cough down their shirts, ... It goes on and on...

I had a huge amount of wasabi on my sushi. I had to sneeze, the place was crazy crowded, my only choice was to turn it on the stranger beside me or my kid. I went with the kid...

I did grab my napkin, but that sneeze had some power! DH said he witnessed it and my DS's hair blew back. He was so horrified he just stared at me.

I laughed like a crazy woman because he looked like Jack Sparrow with the Kraken. I half expected him to call me Beasty!!!!

So I guess everyone around here had quite a laugh last night!

Me, I went to bed by 10pm. I woke up before 7AM this morning and was dressed and out of bed by 8PM. We didn't make the bus for rope drop though!

Tonight will be roll ups (that I found in the freezer) along with a slice of the roast. There is still one more serving in the freezer for hot roast beef sandwiches. But that will be another night. Not sure about the sides. I have potato skins in the freezer and boxes of pasta and sauce and of course frozen veggies.

We had to do something semi healthy after a stop at Krispy Kreme Donuts after the concert. Everybody dove into the salad! It was the only thing we finished.
