I just spoke with Lauren and she's doing fine. She's having computer issues but wanted me to let everyone know that she's OK and will be back with us as soon as her computer's up and running!

Sheryl I hope your husband has a nice and relaxing evening. I agree today was a day I don't want to relive. The phones have been horrible and that is a very small part of my job.

Thanks, it will get better when the ecomony gets back on track and some of the guys go back to work. They are getting very antsy and scared. This is worse than back in the 70's. Hopefully the senate gets how desperate things are for the regular joe.

Tonight is leftovers I am bushed after grocery shopping.

Merle, I saw that in the model pics of the C. I thought it looked strange, but figured it would be better in person. I guess not? I think the treehouse villas would be nice, just a different type of trip.

DD goes to the neuro. doc tomorrow. I won't be going with, her DH took the day off. Ooops because it's also his b-day! Yikes I don't have a gift, I hope I remember this tomorrow morning! But he will be going with her to the dr. Say some prayers that the dr can help her pain.

I know I'm a pain in the patootie, but could y'all also add some more prayers for Bob & I. We did contact an agency for a home health aide. They think they have someone (woman in her 50's works in a nursing home)who might be able to work with our hours. It might start this week. We decided to have them come out twice a wk to help him bath & get dressed. That way they know how to take care of him & could hopefully handle it during & after my surgery. This is going to be soo uncomfortable for him! I know I feel weird about it, I can't even imagine how he feels.

Robin, A monorail resort rocks! Especially with kids or for people who have trouble getting around. We love the Poly, but the new Contemp. looks way cool too! I love BC, but Wilderness Lodge is also gorgeous! Oh I can help add to your list all right! But I'm surely no help figuring out which one to choose.

Glynis, I thought there was a possibility you could come! Unlike chocolate you can never get too much Disney! Plus it would be Disney + your WFD girls & food/wine fest muching!!

I thought I had Alan talked into another WDW trip, but he's wanting to wait for another year to train for the half marathon. BooHoo!

You've got all the prayers you need, Sheryl! I hope this works out well for you and for Bob! Just remember, she's in the health care field, and maybe that will help.

You're never a pain, of course prayers are coming for DD, you & Bob. Johnny has an appt. tomorrow to speak with the person he thinks can give him some info for y'all, let me know if you're still interested.

And yes it is weird at the C. It is a galley style kitchen/bathroom with the bathroom sink on one side and the kitchen stuff on the other. I should have taken pics but really didn't think about it and the girl who walked us over was standing there and I don't know that she would have allowed it anyway.

Nancy--How is Buddy doing? Ross thinks that cabbage recipe is worth trying when we get back.....he won't eat white potato, but eats rare tuna and cabbage......what is up with that? He is an odd duck, my kid!

Sheryl--Can you PM me Alexis' last name and I assume you want me to use your address for her post card? I am just guessing, but want to make sure it is done how is best.
I hope Bob has a better evening then he did a day!

Gretchen--I am beyond ready, but stressed as well. We leave Thursday night and will be driving down again this year. We are spending the weekend at St Pete beach, at my dad's packing up my mothers room. I am unsure how I will handle this. Monday (16th) we are heading over to WDW for a much much needed vacation!


Steph--I am glad you are feeling a bit better today.

Lauren--How did the ultra sound go?

Laura--I am glad Becky is home, I have been worried about you. Glad you heard from Greg.......funny how the Army counts huh?!!?

Becky--Looking forward to the pics and to hear about your trip. Welcome Home!

I know there are quite a few of us who have lost a parent (or two).....some advice or help on how you dealt with packing their things up? We are just boxing and packing (Kris and I) mom's things as quickly as we can. I hope to be able to keep my mind on just getting the job done, and I will take the time to look and remember once home with her things. I just know that this won't be a 100% success as something is bound to get me.


To all who are under the weather, I pray you all feel better soon! Ross is still at 25% ick he said, but he did do wrestling practice after school, and is at karate now.

.....when cleaning out my grams, I found all the letters my mother ever sent her, and I have boxed them all up to read down the road when I am ready...I pulled just a couple of them out the other day to just look at the envelopes......one I grabbed was never opened, and it was postmarked Dec 2007, this is one month before my mom passed.....I don't know how I feel about this......I have no idea why Gram never opened it......I am sure it just got lost in her pile of papers etc. It just seems more upsetting then the ones that have been opened and read.

I haven't been around much and I apologize for that...between Grams, this trip and Ross schedule, and oh yeah Life, my head is spinning. Today I actually took the time to get my hair done for the trip, and Thursday I will have my nails done.

Supper tonight was Subway....Ross got straight A+'s and received the highest honors card, which entitles him to different rewards in the local area and one was 10% off our local Subway.

Hmmmm guess this was more then a "quick" check in wasn't it... sorry about that! If I missed someone (which I am sure I did) I am soooo sorry!

Sheryl--I just saw your post for prayers, and wanted to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are there for both you, Bob and your DD.
My grandfather was so anxious when home health had to come in to care for him, until it started, then he loved the women who cared for him, she was very professional, understood that it was akward for my gramps, and made him very relaxed and comfortable with all of it. I pray that it is this way for Bob.

Hi everybody!

Well I went to the doctor today. I have to go back tomorrow for fasting blood tests. She doesn't really know what the problem is.

Today was bad though. I felt like I was going to pass out at lunch, then almost threw up afterwords. I could barely eat anything today. And I'm flying out of town for 9 days on Saturday.

I can't think straight. My mind is going a mile a minute with things that I need to do for Bean. Tomorrow I will wash some clothes to get ready.

An update from today: Bean is measuring 6lbs 6oz. 65th percentile and is measuring at 36w5d. Big Boy. I have another appointment tomorrow for a BPP and NST and my first internal since my first pg visit (what fun!!! ). Maybe he will give me a tentative induction date then...I am hoping but it probably won't happen. My body is getting ready though...I am having some braxton hicks and some other funky pains...

I hope everyone is well...I am sorry that I am not keeping up too good...
