on the kids!
I want to see pictures of the new family member! I'm glad you were able to step in and take care of him
I'll try, but believe it or not, she seems to be camera shy. I've been trying to take a picture of her to show my sister, but each time I pick up the camera, she walks closer and closer as I keep backing up. I think I'll have to catch her when she isn't looking.

How could we forget you ????
I cannot wait for tax time to be over so we get to visit with you more.
You and me both. Although I'm near the end. I mostly do the corporate stuff and that filing deadline is March 15th. I have a few personal returns I do and then all of the personal ones for my family, but the corporate is the big push.
Gretchen - Enjoyed chatting with ya today.
Same here! I'm driving back and forth every day at that time so if you ever get bored, give me a call. My drive is about one hour and it is the only time I can ever get on the phone without one of the kids interrupting me.
We are both doing well. Hope all of you are doing well also?
We're all fine, thanks. Congrats on getting your little one to sleep. I know you would like an earlier bed time than 9:30, but if I had to choose, I'd pick the continuous sleep over the early bed time.
Mucinex is my friend! Took it for the first time 3 hours ago and the urge to cough has almost stopped.

Decided to try it because the cough syrup and Dayquil I had been using (not at the same time

) were both making me loopy and buzzed.

I had to stop using anything last night because it was messing with my ability to sleep.
I'm glad you got some relief. Right now I'm running on a mixture of Nasonex, claritin and tylenol synus.
Gretchen- What's your new little lady's name? There's nothing like a dog, I can't look at mine and not smile. I'm glad she already feels at home.
I don't really know how my day is going to turn out, part of me hopes we end up at the doctor because I know something is wrong with him, but he's really scared to have surgery again. The other part of me hopes it get's a little better and we can put it off longer. I'm sure everything will be fine- plan for the worst, hope for the best.
The dog's name is Tory. And she makes me smile and go all gooey with her. Not quite as bad as my husband, but I still melt when she looks and me and wags her tail.
And I'll be praying for you and your husband. I hope all works out well.
More prayers please...DD has a followup dr's appt on Tues to find out results from her neck MRI. Please say some prayers that they don't find anything in her neck. She is hoping that the dr. wants to go ahead with the repair to the disc in her low back & that she can schedule it right away before she starts another job.
Sheryl, I'll be praying for her job and for her health. Bless her heart, she needs good news.
What about your surgery? Are you waiting until after hers? Are you still interviewing home health care help?
I got a voice mail from Lauren while at work earlier. She hasn't had time to get online and wanted everyone to know she's doing good. Thomas has his first pediatrician appt this afternoon.
Thanks for the update. I'm sure she has her hands full.
Glynis, that chicken sounds good. I love honey and chicken together. One time I made fried chicken that I dipped in honey before putting the flour coating on...it was really good.
Becky that sounds heavenly. If I could fry chicken worth a darn I might try it myself. But honestly, my frying attempts usually end up with the smoke detector going off.
Tonight Kenny and the kids are having leftovers. I'll make some Trader Joe's harvest grains for me with some steamed veggies.
